I believe these releases from Let Them Eat Vinyl are radio broadcasts that are public domain only because they were broadcast on the radio. This is also the label that released Pearl Jam The 1992 Broadcasts.

I haven't heard anything from this label, but my guess is that you will get bootlegs that are findable on cd or online, but never released on vinyl. I doubt we have audiophile quality here, but probably worth it for us vinyl junkies.

this is similar to the answer I got from my record store. I asked them if this was an official release and if they were getting any in stock and this is what they responded with "Hi Matt, David says that's a grey market release and the quality will likely be very poor. We won't be carrying it."
  • Well poop. Soundstage Direct is a legit company. So they are selling junk now?

I'm guessing they're selling these based on rarity (no other vinyl releases) as opposed to quality.

    it's official

Is it? Doesn't sound too official to me..... if this release is similar to the 1992 broadcasts, that's not official, is it?

This was released last year a a 3LP Colored Vinyl set. They've now made it 4 LPs over two parts, no difference in track order.
  • It appears this is scheduled to be released for rsd
  • It appears this is scheduled to be released for rsd

So it's limited every 6 months then? This is how they are going to kill vinyl again. Greed...
