Cool new song! Stoked for the album (and seeing him in March)

Wow is the new song good. Are the vocals mixed a little weird? Regardless, one of his better ones since Southeastern.
I don't know what they (Cobb?) do to his vocals sometimes. It was apparent, at least to me, on the Self Titled and Here We Rest reissues. Also similar to the vocals on Chaos and Clothes. His vocals need zero additions throughout the recording/mixing process if you ask me. Cleaner is better.

I went back and listened a couple more times. On the last chorus there's also what sounds like a pedal steel with some effects on it. It's a really great song and, yeah, I'd be interested in this version being a little cleaner.
Anyone have a presale code for tomorrow? The Philly show seems to have a radio, and a venue presale, among others. But I can't find a code for The Met or WXPN?

Billy Strings is going to pick up a bunch of new fans, he's going to light people up!
We get Strand of Oaks. Sampled some stuff but this seems like a weird match musically.
Check out Eraserland from last year. Isbell plays on it (I think) and produced it. Great album.

Isbell didn't produce the album but he does do the freakout guitar solo on the song Moon Landing. Strand of Oaks are great and I'm psyched they're opening the Atlanta show. I've seen them (SOA) 8 or 9 times live and they always put on a great show. Check out the albums Heal and Eraserland for a good primer before the show.
