Picks, vinyl, posters!

I collect sealed vinyl. I see posts all the time on here about people complaining, and bitching about sealed vinyl collectors calling them flippers and BS.

Just a statement. I know the people on here who pay $150.00 for a pick are not using them to play there guitar are they? I would guess no pick collector is using there PJ $30.00+ picks to play around the camp fire. (But like vinyl that is what they were made for right?)And also, there are a lot of people who collect posters and keep them in flat files and not hung on a wall. Art is supposed to be seen right?

I have no issues with what people do with their own shit. But I have a problem with you hypocrites who bitch at people who don't spin their sealed vinyl.

Stop the judging in this community, be who you want to be! Stop telling people what they should or shouldn't be doing!

    Funny. I am collecting primarily vinyl I can play. A few sealed items that make no sense to play have snuck in (e.g. Red LB when I have the black one) but I'm with you. I'm never selling this shit so who cares!

    Nicely said. I have no intention of flipping. I'm opened to buying opened vinyl. But, if I am going pay a ridiculous amount of money to begin my vinyl collection.... It should be sealed.

    I'm really sorry for my rant, lost my gf, and had too many beers! But I will bet no one plays their PJ picks! I'd love to see someone "work out a pick" that's my refrance to "spin the black circle"! A 150$ batman pick being played hard on a guitar is like playing a sealed "whatever sealed PJ" ID LOVE TO SEE YOU PLAY YOUR PICK!

    I used my McCready pick for a few months after he zinged it st my head in St.Louis in 2000. Guy uses medium gauge. Then I framed it with Ed's stage setlist from that night. I think I'll break it out again...

    We should feel comfortable here! That's my point! I would bet the band has extensive collections! Whatever they may be. People collect all types of shit! I collect, truck plate from the 20s, weird tools from the 30s-40s , as well as some posters and some vinyl. I just feel sad when others make people feel bad about their oddities.
