Shooting at Grocery Store in Northern Indiana

Three people dead, including the shooter, at a grocery store in Elkhart, Indiana.

I live in South Bend, not far from Elkhart, and this news hit me hard. It's one thing to hear about a shooting like this far away, but to happen at a grocery store, especially at a grocery store chain I have been to before (there are various Martin's Supermarkets ain the area up here), the news and subject is a lot different.

The warning signs were there. He sounded like a completely fucked up person. If any one of his friends saw his facebook, and knew he had guns, they should've done something. He tried to get help before, but sadly I guess it didnt work out. I just want to know how he got a gun. He had a criminal past, so he probably had connections. That is one thing we need to work hardest on; finding out who distributes guns like that.

    Everyday...

    motive could have been as simple as some anniversary of someone passing or some trauma. 4 years to the day he was caught shoplifting there...

    facebook almost sounded like lyrics, everyone posts that stuff.

    but you're right where did he get the gun?
    Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

    This is the thing that scares me the most about guns..

    We can make all the lands in the land to try to control guns.. but the bad guys are still going to find out ways to get a gun..

    That's why the discussion that needs to take place is how exactly do we stop bad guys from getting these guns, and who is responsible for doing so. THAT is the discussion that needs to be had; not adding or subtracting the amount of guns that should be out there.

    Guns are purchased by those that are fearfull. People break into houses and cars that are owned by these fearfull people. Guns in street. Vicious cycle. NRA and their supporters, the gun industry, lick their chops on all the violence.
