Your girlfriend passed out at the Vic last night...

I know it's a longshot, but wondering if she's OK. Mike's side, about 20 feet back from the speaker stack... next to the bar by the stairs... red-haired dude was wearing a maroon t-shirt and girlfriend had a black dress on. She was standing next to me, dropped, and I caught her. Had on a dark blue t-shirt and a Detroit Tigers hat. We helped you get her over to the aisle to get her some air.

Hope everything is OK with her. You should've seen the buzzards swarm for your spot after you left.

    Yeah, there was a woman in front of me who passed out from dehydration during Ed's preset. She drank about 3 bottles of water and thankfully was able to stand and enjoy the rest of the show!

    Hey dude, it's me the red haired dude standing next to you.

    Thanks for your concern and help with the passed out girlfriend. She wanted to apologize if she ruined your show, but you probably really did save her from getting hurt.

    As for us, the security guards were really cool. They brought her outside, sat her down, and gave her 6 glasses of water until she recovered. We missed Lowlight, Love Reign O'er Me, and we were back in during Comatose. We could hear it all clearly through the doors.

    By the way, that was something like her 90th Pearl Jam show and the first one she ever passed out at.

    As for you, best I could do is send you an autographed picture of myself from the Alltel Wireless tv commercials. OK, I'm just kidding. I'm not going to send you a photo, but that is me in those commercials.

    Hell no, man... that didn't ruin the show at all. I'm just happy to hear she's OK. It was really weird... you guys switched up spots so I figured she was just trying to get some air, 'cause that big grate in the wall was blowing some cold air periodically. She was standing next to me and she just kinda leaned back against the railing with her head kinda back, so I thought she was just trying to cool off and didn't think much of it. Then I saw her knees buckle and that's when I caught her the first time. Stood her back up and asked her if she was OK... she said she was fine. As soon as I stood her back up she dropped again and I grabbed her... by that time someone had gotten your attention.

    I'm very happy to hear she's OK. Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't see more people that were having problems with the heat.

    And no need for pics, man... I think I already have one of the back of your head on my piece of shit camera phone. :D I need to be taller.

    If this had been most other boards- the original post would have been a setup for snark.

    I wasn't there- but I am glad that your girlfriend didn't get hurt and was able to enjoy most of the show.

    I tried my hardest to put a PJ reference into that interview!

    If you look at my imdb page they do have Pearl Jam as my favorite band in the "trivia" section ... That should be good enough, right!?!?

    The girlfriend is resting comfortably and thanks everyone who for their concern! She is still going to Lolla tomorrow and doesn't care how hot is gets outside.

    the mom in me is coming out ( as well as I am a redhead who almost didn't make it through the Gorge weekend last year)

    get her some emergenc-c or some sort of electrolyte fluid- water is great- but she also needs salts- when you are thirsty you are already dehydrated- drink lots all weekend ( not alcohol or caffeine- or at least one bottle of water to match every alcoholic or caffinated drink) :( to withstand the humidity and temps.

    if there is an rei- or sporting goods- they should have bandanas with crystals that absorb water- if not a regular bandana that she can soak in water and put on the back of her neck will be very cooling.

    really good sunscreen will also help keep from getting overheated-

    If she drinks lots tonight, she won't have to worry so much tommorow-

    I was standing next to that girl. Good thing she wasn't out for long. That would have sucked to get into that show and miss it. I was afraid I had too much H2O before PJ...was not going to leave for a potty break.
