I bought the Above reissue sort of hastily and I'm not even much of a Mad Season fan. Don't really wanna lose money on it, so just asking $45 shipped to US address, I think that's about what it cost in the shop with shipping charges added on. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, so I won't be able to edit my thread title. :)

    I got some warning years ago from the mods about selling stuff that was available in the shop. Only interaction I've ever had with them. BlackDiamond had sent me his white Backspacer LP & so I tried selling my 10c copy for cost on here & got this snarky PM from one of the mods about it. Ended up just giving the fucking thing away to a board member after that. Sooooo, not sure if the rule is you can't re-sell anything already in the shop or just not above what the price is in the shop.

    No problem. Yeah, I think they sold out of their stock on that one pretty quickly here. It was kind of one of those "Whoa, new vinyl for sale, I better buy it before it sells out!!" things, even though I'm not even really into Mad Season. Should probably just buy the CD.
    It is new/sealed by the way.

    The problem you might run into is these are available online from stores that include free shipping. IE its about 30 bux with free shipping from amazon.

    Was Above ever in the shop? I thought that was only an RSD item (5000 available).... Maybe I'm remembering wrong. The coloured 10" single was in the shop of course, but I didn't realize Above was too.

    Yep, here is where I ordered from. It was a while before the release date for other online retailers/record shops I think... like a few weeks early. May or June I wanna say? It sold out pretty quick but then I guess was available other places fairly easy.

    The record was inititially issued as a RSD release and those copies are all numbered (With different pressings in North America and Europe). After RSD it continued to be pressed as a non-limited edition release. It's really easy to find.

    It's sort of like how MOV releases the first batch on colour vinyl for a new release, but keeps pressing them on black vinyl afterwards.

    I think the only difference between the RSD mad season version and the one currently instores is the RSD ones are numbered.

    I am disturbed by my complete lack of memory as to how I got mine. It must have been here though, since I have it! Great album. I love it!
