Does anybody see the huge differences between these posters?

Unfortunately i'm battling it out on ebay with a seller

I bought the one and received the other.

You can imagine which one I THOUGHT I was receiving.

Thanks Folks for your time and opinions.

I just want to make sure i'm not crazy in thinking the GID variant is shown.

(Which I thought I bought)

The photo in the auction had the top photo, I received the bottom photo one.

Ask for you money back, the one with the GID is more rare than the one signed by him at the show.

How would you tell the top one was the GITD version unless stated by the seller?
And so you see, I have come to doubt

    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

Yeah, it looks like the seller just used someone else's listing info for this. Did the seller advertise it as GID or did you just see the photo and think you were getting a deal on a GID that the seller didn't know was a GID? If the former, you should be able to get your money back; if the latter, you're likely SOL.

Even if the seller used somebody else listing he is showing something that doesn't fit the picture, is like showing the picture or a Car from 98 and the car being sold is an 88, but the auction doesn't say which year, the picture is supposed to be used not only to attract some interest, it's supposed to be a representation of what you're getting.

Yep, I asked after I won it but looking at the pic in the listing it shows the variant clearly.

I asked if the poster was the one pictured in the listing and that it was the GID variant pictured with purple colors to which they replied yes.

Purple colors instead of red and you can faintly see the hampton rockwell figures on the sides from GID inks.

Thanks for your opinions folks, I appreciate it a lot.

  • All I asked the seller was if I could please return it for a refund and that the photo misrepresented it.

I didnt want to open a case and sort through that bullshit but it looks like thats out the window.

He has now told me he was using a "Stock" photo which is a hell of bad choice for the stock photo.

I asked if the photo in the listing was the actual photo of the poster and the answer was yes.

I hope this works out for you. I love this poster. I missed out on the GID myself, and wound up getting my show edition through a trade. It hangs prominently over our dining table.

I'm not a big fan of this poster but the wall and the colors you used all matched nice, good work.

Congrats on getting it worked out. The same thing happened a few months ago. The pic for sale was the GID variant, but the price was very low. I asked the seller and he said it was a stock photo and the one he was selling has the red bow. He said he didn't know there was a difference. I told him there was a big difference, so he changed the description right away.
