    May want to check out Easy Street records, they have a cafe there as well with a pretty good breakfast.

    Thanks for the suggestions. Me and my daughter might do the stalking seattle tour. Looks cool and I think we can fit it in. Possibly going to try and hit easy street records too, we both like vinyl. Ten club actually sent me an email with some ideas too a few weeks back, i thought that was pretty cool!

    If you wanna save $45 each just do the tour yourself. I have most of the addresses if you want. I did my own tour last year and it was interesting and fun.

    Haven't read the whole thread but I too did the Stalking Seattle tour when I was there last year. Easy to just be shows around everywhere when you don't have much time. Anyway it was great. Highly recommended. :)

    Oh yeah & definitely go by Easy Street Records & EMP was cool too.

    I did the stalking seattle tour last December a couple of days before the show. Besides visiting a lot of cool sites, Charity (the guide) is very knowledgeable of the scene. She is amazing; it was like hanging out with a friend!
    I also agree that EMP and Easy Street Records are a must!

    Did it when we went back in 2012. It gave me goosebumps to stand in the same room that Eddie recorded his vocals.

    too many things not enough time. I am only going to be able to fit in the stalking Seattle tour. We arent flying in until around 11 AM, need to get rental car, check in at hotel then we have the afternoon, dinner and by then we are going to be talked. Our flight is 8 AM out of NJ so up at 3 AM to get there from CT. Going to be a LOOOOOONG day with time change and everything.

    Stay at the Hotel Max and request a room on the 4th or 5th floor. They have the room doors covered with a door size photo of concert scenes from the early grunge period, PJ concert photos cover several. Also, the rooms on that floor have record players and vinyl to play. In the lobby, they have a post card from Eddie to his room mates in San Diego from the Hotel Max as that is where he stayed when he came up to audition after sending his demo tape. All pretty cool. And reasonably priced for the location.

    Have fun and enjoy it. Vancouver is awesome. Go to Modena in Vancouver for brunch. Its awesome.

    Well I just got back yesterday from the trip. Still adjusting to the back and forth time zones. We had a great time on our trip. We did the Stalking Seattle tour and it was awesome. It was a great way to see so much of the city in a short 2-3 hr timeframe. Charity was awesome, she had some great stories and was a great host. For those interested it sounds like she is partnering with Hotel Max soon to offer a package to stay at hotel and do the tour. And yes it does appear to rain quite a bit in the PNW, only saw the sun one day out of our 5 day trip.

    I was not a huge fan of Vancouver. The mountains around were beautiful but other than Granville Island that we visited was not crazy about the area in general. Had a great time and my daughters team played very well and of course they get to really bond on trips like that which is even more important than the games themselves. Attaching a few pics.

    Wow how perfect,,,,, my girlfriend and I just booked our trip to Seattle for the beginning of August we're going to be there for five days and 4 nights and just so happens that the chicago white sox are in town playing the Mariners so that is a for sure for us. I wanted to check out all of the music scene and checkout Pikes Place and all the nature.
    These are all great ideas, please tell me some more things and places to do. especially Pearl Jam stuff

    Whats the deal with all the new laws reguarding 420? Does it apply to out of towners?
