Red Hot Chili Peppers to join Bruno Mars at Superbowl Halftime Show?

According to reports, Red Hot Chili Peppers will join Bruno Mars during the Superbowl Halftime show. I would actually be more excited if this is really the case, even though I'm not a big fan of halftime shows. I like Bruno Mars, but I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

    I'm on the fence about this. I leaning towards not being a fan of this. If PJ ever did the halftime show I would hate it, and I think I'm slightly leanings to feeling the same way towards RHCP... :/

    I still don't get why fans don't want their favorite bands to do this. PJ will eventually do it (if they are asked). Let's hope they do it while they are still at the top of their game and not ending up on stage with Britney Spears somehow.

    Name a rock band that "fits the mold" that hasn't (e.g. some incarnation of Pink Floyd makes no sense as that doesn't translate).

    And if they do it, and you don't like it, don't watch.
