The double variant...
Who in their right mind would buy this? Let alone for $1,250! It's hideous, I don't care if there's only 1!0 -
So looked all over and I couldn't find the 2nd variant. Where does one see this??0

here's mine:
No. I'm not selling it. Its not the most awesome poster ever but its not the worst not even from just shows I've been to. Its just... plain. I like the double a lot though."Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."

I see. So there were the only two? Thought there may have been a third.. I love the poster. I dressed it up a lil with the stickers from my four shows. Now I love it more than ever.. If I knew how to put I pic on here id do it. But I don't so I won't.0

There were a few randoms at the show and then at the pop up shop the next day they raffled 2 copies off. Tim said he thought there was only 5-6 made, not exactly official…but does seem pretty rare. I got the Riot Act variant randomly at the show…seems to be at least a few more of those floating around.95' - 7/9

Two designs, but three posters: Pearl Jam by itself, Riot Act by itself (variant), and both on one uncut sheet (double variant).sp208395 said:I see. So there were the only two? if i had it of course i'd have to frame it, but man, $1259? currently has a higher resale than the wrigley variant, a far superior and beautiful print. oh well, to each their own!ShawnZ0

If you could sell a poster you paid $35 for $1,259 a month later why wouldn't you? I mean c'mon - you could trade the thing for a Benaroya Hall vinyl at that price (or sell, then buy - same thing). That's insane. Who wouldn't do that (I wouldn't do the last part as I can't see spending $1,000 on a record that doesn't perform acts on me as well, but I'd have a hard time not selling it).SZ303389 said:if i had it of course i'd have to frame it, but man, $1259? currently has a higher resale than the wrigley variant, a far superior and beautiful print. oh well, to each their own!
Especially when the regular is going to be so easily available cheaply if you want a momento from the show you went to. Heck, you could buy the 2 other versions and frame them together and still have $1,000 left over. Is the uncut really that big a deal in this poster's case?
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.0 -
As a collecter yes, it is a poster I would love to have in my collection just because of its rarity. But I dont think I could drop a G on this one. I would pay 500 tops. And that's still a lot. I don't mind paying for something I like. Just as long as I pay my bills at the end of the month.

at this point it'd be tough not to sell at that price, and you're right, the regular poster i have is enough of a memento. just wondering who'd pay THAT much, insane! i bid on the other one and was out at $300. crazy effersEdsonNascimento said:

And the shocking thing is that it's not even signed or numbered by the artist. I believe there are 12 of these that were randomly sold @ the show. Nothing on the back. Nothing different on the front. Just that it's uncut. And going for that much, on eBay? DAMN!!! @-) THIS blow's your mind!EdsonNascimento said:

I wonder if DFace will sell any S/N prints on his website. Print some AP's with an edition of 30. How much do you think he will sell them for?Post edited by demetrios on0
