Pearl Jam To Headline Lollapalooza ’07
Posted: Fri., Mar. 02, 2007 09:47:01 AM MST
CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) -- Pearl Jam, the breakout superstar of the original Lollapalooza touring festival in 1992, will return to headline the retooled three-day fest in Chicago in 2007.
The godfathers of grunge will be the featured act at the August 3-5 event in Grant Park. Organizers don’t plan to announce the rest of the 130-band line up or put tickets on sale for several weeks, most likely in late March or early April.
The Chicago Sun-Times confirmed that Eddie Vedder and company will play the Chicago show in the middle of their U.S. tour, following a month-long jaunt across Europe in June that includes several major music festivals.
Stay tuned to CelebrityAccess for more details on this summer’s Lollapalooza as they become available. --by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
