    All I've done for the last several days is come here and gripe. I don't like myself like that. So here's the thing- I'm taking Pearl Jam off my favorites to prevent me from being tempted to do this anymore. Maybe someday a better site will be created again. Good luck, best wishes to all.

    Anyone else notice that when you amplify the font, it amplifies other sites you visit?

    Now that I have a headache again from the glaring whiteness, I've got to go.

    It's terrible, but I can get used to it.

    Like others have said, I almost wonder if the purpose iis designed for or the result of less board traffic.
    The only people we should try to get even with...

    I honestly must say that if you leave, this forum will be a lesser place, I've always enjoyed reading your thoughts and feeling towards issues here.

    I've not posted much recently, but still would occasionally scan the boards for topics, and loved seeing/reading you and a few others post well though out, sound and logical replies to topics.

    i completely agree with Idris. g under p, i would hate like hell if you don't come back. but i understand your reasons if you don't. if you don't come back, take care of yourself and your family. i would miss reading your contributions here my friend.

    It does make you wonder why we've had no response on here from the mods. Are they hoping that we'll simply 'get used to it over time', and that things will continue as normal? I for one won't be posting here much now as long as the site looks the way it does.
    It's a fucking mess.

    seriously. how many people are they going to allow to jump ship because of their terrible message board upgrade?? i would think that the band would give a few fucks that their online community has seemingly died off over the course of 6 days.

    It's not like I'm one of those people who you ever hear criticizing the Ten Club - I think they do a great job. (And they also allow me to still post here after accumulating probably the highest number of bans in the boards history :\"> ).
    But still, this new layout sucks. It's too hard on the eyes. The white background isn't doing it for me at all.
    Hopefully they'll do something to improve it soon.

    There are definite bonuses to the new layout. The tags are cool and will be helpful if they're used properly. I like that you can embed videos, and it looks like it automatically reduces images so that you can post pretty much any image without being a script wizard....
    But I think a lot of the complaints are totally valid. It is hard to navigate. The line separating the post from the posters signature is way too light and makes it hard to decipher where the comment ends and the sig begins...font size is too small...avatars are too small and putting them in the same column as the posts makes it more cluttered in appearance....but mostly, the white background is the killer.
    In the mid 00's or so, they switched from a black background to a blue and white theme and people freaked. Within a couple of weeks they had offered up a few different skins - the blue and white one, the black and gold look similar to the way it looked before the upgrade, and the 'festivus' skin as well (red, green, and white)...After the backlash from the white board that time, I'm surprised they'd try it again. .I'm hoping eventually they will at least be able to give us skin options so that we can change the background. You'd think the font size and skin colours could be changed easily enough. At least I'm pretty sure with a php or vbulletin board they could be.
