There has to be someone out there that's thinking of selling. I'm not looking to score a great deal. Fair is all I'm looking for. Talked to a few guys that are selling on classified ads. Don't feel like shelling out 1500 for something someone paid 350 for a few weeks ago.
You're never going to get one for $350... the people who got one at the pop up shop were pretty lucky. They are pretty rare and highly sought after. Getting someone to part with one for $350 would be a fairly difficult conversation.
On the positive side when they sold them at the Pop Up Shop last year a number of people posted them on ebay. The extra supply caused a temporary dip in prices. They had been going for over $1500 and then I saw a sealed on go for under $1000 grand.
I get the feeling the 10c (by putting so many copies up for sale this year) decided to ditch their excess supply. They sold even more than last year so that should be causing another temporary bout of downward pressure on prices. I would imagine once these new copies settle into the hands of collectors and stop circulating that prices will start going higher again.
Just my thoughts anyways..... If you have to buy one, it might not be a bad time to buy one.
I'm just fishing for someone who has been playing theirs for awhile and may want to sell it for whatever reason. I realized that I would be paying more then cost. Just hoping that I to get a chance to appreciate it for what it really is. A record.
Well I'm glad your not carrying the "One Ring" into Mordor for us...
If you want to grab one for under $800 your best bet is to hawk these boards and eBay as many times a day as possible for a few months. Looks for damaged box or jacket copies and that will be your only shot most likely. Good luck but just be realistic about it... It's going to take a while if you want it on the cheap.

Unless he could do it in five hours!
Dude, these responses are cracking me up. Sorry OP! Best of luck in your hunt!
Maybe search that thread and PM him to see if he is interested in selling.
