My favorite new band find, definitely, without a doubt, our own JonnyPistachio's Luna Rex. Here's a great tune off their new album, "All Kinds of Terrain" coming out 3/1/14:

Very nice! I enjoyed that a lot.
Irontom is a band I've been listening to for the last year or so - Jack Irons' son on guitar:

I got a free tune off itunes a while back by J Roddy Walston and the Business. Only got round to buying their cd's towards the end of last year but really like them.

Not sure if they'll ever come to the UK but would be intersting to see them.

Just seen your post. No I never knew that :(( Gutted!!

I've been a bit bad in following live music and bands since moving from the London area to Northern England. I'm slowly getting back into it now.

They're not new, in fact they have been around for about a decade but The Flatliners is a pretty kickass punk band I just came across, check them out.

Also saw July Talk in Vancouver the night after PJ24 in Denver and they kick ass all over the place live! If you have the chance go and see them, they should be dropping a new album in 2015 as well.

Totally different ends of the spectrum, she's nothing like the Districts, but really good nonetheless.

When can we get the elixer to life so we can spend 87 lifetimes enjoying all this amazing music! Beauties in here! BEAUTIES! I'm on a tear tonight, as some of you may have noticed, so I will post this one... .more... time... and try to leave it at that. Found this lastnight. Oh ya, and July Talk is awesome. Saw em this past summer in Fernie, BC. Mint.
