That moment when you find gear that you thought was lost

I was at a friend's family Christmas Eve party when I got to chatting with one of the other musicians there. During the conversation, he mentioned that he still had two of my BOSS DS1 Distortion pedals, my BD2, and my DS1 over drive. My fiance' looked at me and my jaw dropped! I totally thought they had been lost and had given up on looking for them. The two BOSS ones were the big ones that meant a lot---one was the first pedal I bought. My dad stepped on it and thought her broke it (He didn't realize that's what is supposed to happen) and ran out to surprised me with a new on on the day of a show. It just really meant a lot that he felt that bad and wanted to surprise me. About two years ago, I let a friend borrow them. I never remembered her bringing them back and then me letting a another friend borrow them. I though she had lost them. I felt so bad and so did she. I've since apologized and gotten everything straightened out.

My question to you all is: Have you lost any gear and then randomly found it?
