As a 10c member for 10 years, I'm at my wits end being shut out for MSG tix through both 10c presales, the ticketmaster presale, the general public sale and I've even lost out on a pre-arranged trade for tix. What the hell do I have to do to get tix!?! Anyway I have 2 great tix for My Morning Jacket at Radio City Fri, 06/20/08 Orch 7, Row E, Seats 705-706 or I can pay CASH. If interested PM me.

How about you quit bitching, pay $25 above face value on stubhub, and keep your crappy My Morning Jacket tickets. Most of us didn't watch them when the opened for PJ, let alone pay to see them.

Why don't you offer your PJ MSG tickets for MMJ tickets? Maybe I am wrong and "they are" plenty of PJ fans that would trade their MSG tickets for MMJ tickets, but I don't think so. Well, so far two posters have agreed with me. I think the thousands of empty seats in the arena for MMJ agree with me also.

Or this guy could throw down an extra $25 and get a ticket to an MSG show! That's like skipping coffee every day for a month!

THERE ARE...gasp! A typing error that everybody does online. i find it funny how lame people are to point out someones gramatical mistakes on a forum.

there is no need to get all pissy at someone who wants to trade a ticket. and no i wont trade my MSG tickets, because i dont have any.

Back to my original point.... TICKETS ARE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE! How can somebody afford a $91.05 ticket, but not a $110.00 ticket? Sure it won't be the best seat in the building, but at least you are in the building!

"Teh" instead of "the" is not a typing error. I'm not sure what you would call your error. Maybe a "lack of understanding" error? I mean you wanted to say "there" instead of "they". The "y" key is on the other hand, it's not like you typed "thete" or "thwre". I'm not sure how one creates that error. If you were from a foreign country maybe. While NJ seems foreign to the rest of the USA, I'm going to guess that English is your native tongue. I guess you could be 8 years old too, so I apologize if you are.

So it's OK to lower the standards because "everyone does it"? I HATED English/Grammar in school, yet I still learned it. So are you asking me not to tell you that you didn't capitalize any "i" in your post, you started a sentence with a preposition, you missed a ' in 2 different words, you misspelled "grammatical," and you didn't capitalize some words that start a sentence. I see the future of this country is bright….

the original poster was asking for a simple trade. there are plenty of MMJ fans on here, and people with extra tickets to MSG who may be interested in catching another concert, to trade with. Nothing wrong with just asking. and the way I see it, you were the one bitching at him. He wasn't bitching at all.

also, the fact that you care enough about a mistake as simple as 'there' to 'they' to type 2 paragraphs about it pretty much shows that you probably just like to bitch at people on forums for your own childish fun.

The Radio City Music Hall show is sold out, so I assume your referring to empty seats while they were opening for PJ in 2006. That just shows that some* PJ fans wouldn't know good music (other than PJ) even when it's playing right in front of them. I'd also attribute that to people partying (drinking, etc.) in the parking lots before the show. Some* people care nothing for opening bands, but I check them out all the time, and MMJ has to be one of the best openers PJ has ever had

You are all missing the point. Nobody is going to trade anything but crappy MSG tickets for MMJ tickets. ANYBODY can buy crappy MSG tickets right now for not much more than face value. Why bother trading his MMJ tickets? Obviously he bought them because he wants to go to the show, or he is a low life scalper. I'm sure there are a lot of people on the board who like MMJ, "They opened for PJ, they are my new favorite band." These are the same people who would base political opinions on what their favorite lead singers says.

I'm sorry for holding such a high standard of basic English. Maybe typing 2 paragraphs is tough for you, but it's not really that big of a deal.

Thanks canucklehead, we were waiting for your opinion! Don't you have anything better to do than give it to us? I was originally just pointing out something very important. RATHER THAN BITCHING ONLINE ABOUT NOT GETTING MSG TICKETS, HE CAN BUY THEM RIGHT NOW! I’m sorry I voiced my opinion about MMJ, I’m sorry that I don’t like a band that you like, and hurt your feelings.

Yes I was referring to when they opened for PJ. Just because you like them doesn't make it good music. I always go for the opening band because I want to see Ed's preset. As much as I like beer, drinking does not enhance everything, especially rock concerts. Most of the opening bands I have seen for PJ have been pretty bad. Especially MMJ and sleater Kinney. Buzzcocks were interesting. Sonic Youth was just noise. Sparta was OK. I can't even remember all the openers I saw.

Still, whether MMJ is any good or not is not the important thing in this thread. It's the fact that he doesn't have to sell his MMJ tickets to get MSG tickets.

    Exactly.

Dude, all he was doing was asking for a trade. Since alot of PJ fans became fans of MMJ from the 06 tour, he probably figured he would have a shot. Plus, did you ever think that maybe he won't pay the extra $25 because he doesn't want to? tickets used to be around $50, with that so called extra $25 that bumps it to over $100. I'm sure he isnt the only person that doesn't want to pay for the equivalent of two tickets and get one. Not only that, but he would be paying over $100 for non 10C shitty seats.

Also, not everyone thinks PJ is their favorite band here. I bet there are some who came to see MMJ during the 06 tour, and thought PJ was a bonus. I would go as far as saying MMJ is the most popular band here other than PJ. Just because YOU don't like them, doesn't mean nobody else does. Have you seen all of the MMJ threads lately?

And you are also missing the other thing he wrote. he said he would also be willing to pay face value for a MSG ticket. Plenty of people at the venue who have extra tickets sell them for face value to get rid of them. Some times under face value. so asking that is perfectly fine.

MMJ is good music to me. My point there was that to some fans all that matters is PJ, not any other music, so they don't even give the opening bands a chance. I see that you check them out, so at least you give them a chance. I agree with your opinions about some of them (particularly SK), but must respectfully disagree on MMJ. I liked Sonic Youth, but thought Sparta sucked. I probably should have also mentioned that I had previously seen MMJ at Roo, so I was exposed to their music even before they opened for PJ.

    Exactly.

"12345AGNST1" agreeing with "_FiveAgainstOne_".... coincidence? Or the same person? Best friends? Maybe MDG163 and MDG165 will sign on and agree with me?

At least he spelled "Exactly" correctly. Nice use of punctuation too, although I would have used an exclamation point instead of a period. Regardless, you are still deviating from the main point. Why are you doing that? Are you just that sensitive about your ignorance of the English language?

MMJ is sold out since months.
MMJ-tickets on Ebay go over 100 for a single. There is an auction right now for 2 tickets, over 6 days left and already 177 Dollars...

There are a lot of fans who travel to NY to see PJ and want to see MMJ, too (if they are almost in NY on June 20th). But they had no chance to score MMJ-tickets, the show was sold out when the PJ-shows were announced!

AND, I traded my extra Tenclub-ticketpair MSG2 for 2 good MMJ-seats at RCMH here with another person on the Message Board.
You can hate me for that, but I will see 3 rocking shows in NY, not only 2.

I wasn't aware that MMJ is sold out "since months." MMJ tickets are going for $87.50 on stubhub now for a single.

So how did you get an extra pair of 10C tickets for MSG2? Isn't it against the rules to trade the tickets? Did you buy them with the intention of just trading or selling them? Maybe your 10C number should be revoked! Maybe you should stick to the main point that THERE IS NO NEED TO BITCH ABOUT NOT GETTING MSG TICKETS WHEN THEY ARE SELLING FOR SO LITTLE OVER FACE VALUE.... and quit harping on how great MMJ is.

I'm glad you are seeing 3 rocking (in your opinion) shows in NY, I guess I will have to be content only seeing PJ 4 times on this tour. Too bad my job won't let me see more, I would have really loved to hit that 35th PJ show milestone! I guess I will have to be content with all the other great bands I am seeing this summer.

"your an idiot." - now that is irony!

Hurling insults is the first sign of message board defeat. I don't need to call you an idiot; you're proving that on your own. I'm sure it was just a typing error, not a complete misunderstanding of the word "your".

Keep the posts coming, everyone loves laughing at you!

My friend and me both scored Tenclub tickets for MSG2 on the same time (100 miles between us, everyone at home). So we had an extra pair!
We both got nothing for MSG1, but were lucky at TM Tenclub sale.
Should I be banned from the Tenclub for this?
Should I eat my extra tickets?

If you look at my older posts, you can find the whole story- if you are able to find them...

You shouldn't have referred to them as "my" tickets, because clearly they are your friend's tickets. You need to be clearer in your posts. We can't read your mind, and we are not going to look at your old posts.

mdg164, relax it will be OK. Hey Hey it's O.K. Hey Hey it's O.K. it's O.K. it's O.K. The way people take things to serious and then treat people on this board with no respect is pathetic. We all have one thing in common and that is PJ so everything else should be taken in with an open mind instead of immature aggression. Maybe your place of employment should make you work on weekends because quite honestly you have spent some of your day really nit picking at people who just want to hear great music and try to communicate and make friends. Where were you before the year 2000?? Were you not a Pearl Jam fan before then? Were you still in diapers?
