Thought this was an interesting way to make news

MY favorite was this one

"One party seems to like some of the Bill of Rights. The other party, some more. Few willing to stand up for the whole thing."
that’s right! Can’t we all just get together and focus on our real enemies: monogamous gays and stem cells… - Ned Flanders

He had a pretty cool back and forth with cory booker on Twitter too over mandatory minimums and how the drug war has failed us.

One thing is clear: We need politicians in office who are willing to shake up the status quo. I don't know if Rand Paul is that person but I would rather have people with passion to fix what they believe is wrong than those who continue to kick the can down the road content with their notoriety and perceived power.

Are you convinced that he's not just like all the others? Susceptible to corruption and pathologically hungry for power? I find that concept incredibly hard to believe.

I absolutely LOVE the comparison of Rand to Cobain. It is perfect. There is no phonier, more contrived rock legend than that of Kurt Cobain. The guy was playing an anti-establishment character but constantly saying and doing things to get attention. His followers adopted an almost religious connection to him and his band, placing both on a pedestal neither deserved.

    Yep, sounds just like Rand.

is it true that he is now walking back some of his previous stances?

Some of what is saying sounds good in the saying of it. But what actions has been behind his statements?
