I don't agree with this It looks like they just went to the popup shop and bought all the rare shit they could find just to turn around and sell it.

Now remember this is "my opinion"

You guys are right I should not put names in my post's for that I owe an apology "I am sorry for calling some one out in the forums" But I still don't agree with it. And if people dont like it oh well that is why it is MY opinion.

  • they are in the 10c and if you look at the benaroya hall owners list, they own 2 of them at least and one was bought last year at the popup shop

There's a lot of 10C members here doing the same thing. This forum is loaded with them.

SeattleBatman is a longtime member. I'm not sure if he frequents the forum or not but I have bought stuff off him on eBay going back to probably 2003. I can tell you that his collection is extensive and over the years he's sold some pretty amazing stuff. Having spoke to him numerous times via DM on eBay I can tell you he is a very nice guy.

Now I'm not getting into the flipping debate, that horse has been beaten more than it needs to but I will say that SeattleBatman is a nice dude who has helped me in the past by selling me items I was after for less than his asking price. Any auction that gets bid on to astronomical prices is the fault of the buyers, not the sellers.

Check this person out, if this person belongs to the 10Club there membership imo needs to be revoked. It looks like they just went to the popup shop and bought all the rare shit they could find just to turn around and sell it.

But you don't have a problem with the 10 club limiting Benny to 2,000, hoarding a large percentage of them just to sell for 1000% more than the original price, 10 years down the road. It's OK for the 10 club to do it, but it's not OK for a fan?

Seems to me like your opinion wasn't very well thought out.

What is with the constant need to call people out on here lately?
Seattlebatman is a really good dude. I've dealt with him multiple times.
Seems silly to base your "opinion" about somebody on what they are selling on
an auction site. He's not selling it here. So I don't understand why it's necessary to
start a thread in the "Flea Market" section of this site.

Is it really that hard, not to post every time something rubs you the wrong way?
This isn't directed at anyone specifically either. Just a general statement to everyone that has made
this place less fun to visit with all the bitching over the last couple of years...

I get bummed when I miss out on "stuff" too. But I don't feel the anger that some of you apparently do.
If it's priced too high, move along...Go donate to a grail, or one of the many charity raffles that go on here regularly.
Maybe you'll win something. And even if you don't you're donating to good causes! Win win!

Can we please just lay off the tantrum/call out threads! They are really unbecoming....

Oh but I do have a problem with it if they are going to sell a limited item sell all of them don't hold back some of them just to sell later at an inflated price. Next time you need to think before you post

I need to think? Someone needs to stop projecting and it's not me.

Agree, bought my holy grail from him (not on ebay), which he had 9 of... very extensive collection. I've heard it the other flipping way too though.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?
