I just find it shocking & weird when I see this. http://expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/180923

How on earth are there so many eBay sales when the product hasn't even been received in the palm of their hands? Just imagine if these don't get shipped out till March break? What happens to those PayPal transactions & the price history?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that some people's 'issues' are with flippers. I mean to say that everywhere, people need some form of 'stress' in their life- it's a natural part of humanity.

For example, in some areas of the planet, some people worry about where they are going to sleep... some worry about what they are going to eat... others wonder if bullets or bombs are going to take the life of one of their loved ones.

It's so nice to hear that in other parts of the world, the stress- borne from envy- that one finds for themselves is the animosity they develop towards a person selling a box of records. How fortunate!

    Have a nice day.

Meh, it's possible to be compassionate about those real issues while at the same discussing complaints/dislikes of less importance. For that matter, every complaint about anything you have ever had is likely more trivial than those that were brought up, no?

Rationalize it any way you want, but what cannot be contested is the fact that it's petty bitching spawned from the I was left out and I'm frustrated spoiled and entitled attitude. The people that bitch so loudly about such little things are generally the people I avoid in social settings to avoid listening to incessant moaning about inconsequential things that mean very little.

And the overwhelming majority of my complaints are most certainly more trivial than the ones I mentioned. When I catch myself griping about something and I am reminded to keep things in perspective, I realize I am being a little bitch and I shut the fuck up.

    I can't argue against this. :D

All things being equal... if someone wants to sell their records... then they can. If someone wants to bitch about someone selling their records... then they can.

The comments made by myself should probably not have been said: I knew what this thread was about when I entered it and I guess I should have stayed out of it knowing full well my position was in complete opposition to the sentiments expressed.

I get what you are saying, I really do, especially about those that fall in to the "so loudly about such little things" category. I just think that the majority of folks that post in a thread like this are just having an opinion about something that was presented and aren't necessarily in that category. I mean the reality is we could go after every aspect of our admittedly relatively privileged lives and make the comparison to starving or homeless people.

And because this is so... we should remind ourselves every now and then to 'tone it back' when we catch ourselves griping about something that doesn't truly affect our health or welfare. It seems we have beaten this drum extensively. People have clearly expressed their views and it's well past the time to drop it in my opinion.

I mean, people are searching EBay, posting links to items selling, and making judgement calls on these people that draw support on these pages. It just can't be that big of an issue for some.

Fair enough. And I do agree searching it out to complain is silly.

And don't get me wrong... I talk loudly, but I am not saying I am perfect and I am not saying I have things figured out. I'm as problematic and complex as the next person on these pages. But one thing I have going for me is when I am wrong... I admit I'm wrong and move forward growing from the experience and getting better for doing so.

With that said, I'm open to the notion that maybe I'm wrong on this issue. People cashing in on an item they bought for themselves might in fact be jerks. I just haven't heard anything that convinces me this is so.

    Have a great holiday season!

    Very well said IMO.

I think sometimes it is easy to picture the people behind the ebay listings as like evil mad scientists and admittedly the reality is most are probably just ordinary joes trying to get by like the rest of us.

Anyhow, best holiday wishes to you and yours as well

Or, regular fans that bought Sevens for $55 for their collection and then see people offering $500 for the set and realizing it is a no-brainer to sell.

Ha, I have seen some of those on eBay and I've been tempted several times to buy an extra PJ Vs Ames book, just to cut out the posters I want but will never get, easy to frame them that size, then sell the rest as mini posters on eBay! Surely if someone paid $245 for a mini poster, they are just an asshole who didn't read the description and thought it was the real full size poster? I'm hoping? Or else there is no hope for humanity.
