Weren't some of the US 2013 shows 'A night with Pearl Jam' with no support? I heard Leeds is, so I'd expect 32-37 songs ish, however I'd expect festival shows to be more like the 2012 Euro tour.

I think you should pay a little more attention to things before starting such a ridiculous thread.
They changed the format to their shows in the US this year based on the planned Wrigley Field setlist and the fact that the entire first leg was "a night with Pearl Jam". They were then awesome enough to keep that format going when there was an opener for many of the shows on the second leg. It would be great to see that format continue, but if they choose not to, that's just life...
Comparing to the 2012 EU tour makes no sense.

So what would you prefer on your set list? Longer songs (Porch, RVM, Black, Crazy Mary) or shorter songs (Lukin, Untitled, Spin The Black Circle) in your set list so they can raise the song count? Just cause they play less songs @ a show, you're still gonna get a 3 hour set no matter what (depending on the curfew aloud at the arena).
the 2012 US shows were a comparable length to the 2012 Europe shows. It doesnt maek sense to compare them to the 2013 US shows.

Reason for less songs in Europe is the amount of time Ed spends trying to speak different languages and the way we wont let them finish/start songs due to still singing and ooohing when they're not playing.
Even the Mudhoney shows on the West Coast went past 3hrs+ with 34-36 songs. I suspect the format will be the same in Europe.

I was kinda shocked a little with that. With an opening band & curfew rules, their sets would be shorter then those "Evening With Pearl Jam" shows. But that's not true at all! Last 3 show's I did (Spokane, Vancouver & Seattle), Pearl Jam's set list clocked over 3+ hours.

That was not your point in your original post. Your original post called Pearl Jam lazy because they played less songs in Europe last year than they did in US this year. Those are two very different things. You should fix your original post.

Yeah, but that didn't make a difference. The shows with an opener were just as long (i.e. 36 songs, 3 hours 15 minutes in Vancouver, with Mudhoney as an opener).
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
I´ve never understood why longer is neccesarily better.
I´d much rather have a tight 28 song set than a sloppy 36 set, draining the audience completely as well.
Saw Springsteen last year.
And although he was good he just went on for too long. 3 hours +
You barely couldn´t stand afterwards and had no energy for the final 40 mins (or so) of the show.
Just my 2 cents

3 hours only, that is a short Bruce show. I once stood for over six hours, including 40 minute preset and 4 hours 6 min show
