There's a NO CODE symbol on the barn door & the YIELD sign next to the "CENTER"
    VERY subtle but cool additions!!

I'm looking forward to these boots more than I ever have for past tours. It's akin to waiting for a new PJ album. Something very special happened this October with our favorite band, and I consider myself so very lucky to have witnessed one of them (Moline).

  • I was fortunate to be at both Moline and Milwaukee and this is the first time in a while that I can't wait for the bootlegs to come out. What a special set of nights.
These look fantastic and way to go with the blending into the original without detracting.

    Great job!
    Thanks.

Thanks for sharing the clever, subtle additions to the poster artwork - nice job. We want what we can't have :) - I'm looking forward to the Moline and Milwaukee bootlegs too ..... London 2013 seems a no-go at this point.
    Enjoy

Great stuff. Thanks for posting. Where do you put the file in iTunes so that it shows up?
I'm trying to think of a really good signature.

It's easier to use a 3rd party application as iTunes doesn't always play nicely with artwork changes. I use Tag on my personal iMac, but at work I use MP3Editor (something like that). DM me if you have issues.

FYI, you should make the artwork changes before adding to your iTunes library. And I delete older bootlegs when I chan the artwork, then add it back once changes are made.

This is interesting - have never had any problems adding the new artwork to my iTunes files. I still see the new artwork even in the Finder. Am I doing something wrong? Is there an app I should use?

I wonder if it's just an iTunes match thing. Do you have iTunes Match? For whatever reason, any time I would make a change using iTunes, it would default to the previous artwork. So I just edit the files before I add them to iTunes.

Oh, iTunes Match is death to good artwork. I used to subscribe to it, but canceled it because it messed up my artwork.

Yes it is. When/if I change artwork for an existing album (I'm pretty anal about more than just bootleg artwork), I have to delete it from the cloud (download a local copy before doing this!), make my changes, then re-add and re-upload in iTunes. A pain in the arse! :)

I really like your work, any chance you could do variations without the 'textured' backgrounds?

Glad you like! It would take too much time to go back a re-do these. I realize that I'm a texture-heavy kind of guy, and a lot of that is done to hide imperfections and/or quality of the digital image I could get, but I try to get these to a point where I'm happy with the outcome and call it a day. Having said that, there are a few that I'm not happy with at all, so I will try to improve upon them in the future.

And for everyone that likes these, I'm putting out a formal request for high quality 2008 tour posters. If anyone has any ideas as to where to get these, PLEASE let me know! I've even contacted Ames. Bros directly and was (unceremoniously) shot down!

FYI, not the actual posters, just digital representations of them.
