Concert Posters as Bootleg Cover Artwork -> inside

Yes it is. When/if I change artwork for an existing album (I'm pretty anal about more than just bootleg artwork), I have to delete it from the cloud (download a local copy before doing this!), make my changes, then re-add and re-upload in iTunes. A pain in the arse!igotid_8 said:
Oh, iTunes Match is death to good artwork. I used to subscribe to it, but canceled it because it messed up my artwork.cacarr1 said:
I wonder if it's just an iTunes match thing. Do you have iTunes Match? For whatever reason, any time I would make a change using iTunes, it would default to the previous artwork. So I just edit the files before I add them to iTunes.igotid_8 said:
This is interesting - have never had any problems adding the new artwork to my iTunes files. I still see the new artwork even in the Finder. Am I doing something wrong? Is there an app I should use?cacarr1 said:
It's easier to use a 3rd party application as iTunes doesn't always play nicely with artwork changes. I use Tag on my personal iMac, but at work I use MP3Editor (something like that). DM me if you have issues.VedHead said:Great stuff. Thanks for posting. Where do you put the file in iTunes so that it shows up?

I really like your work, any chance you could do variations without the 'textured' backgrounds?Melbourne: March 17 1995, March 18 1995, March 2 1998, February 18 2003, November 13 2006, November 20 2009, January 24 2014, November 16 2024, November 18 2024.

Glad you like! It would take too much time to go back a re-do these. I realize that I'm a texture-heavy kind of guy, and a lot of that is done to hide imperfections and/or quality of the digital image I could get, but I try to get these to a point where I'm happy with the outcome and call it a day. Having said that, there are a few that I'm not happy with at all, so I will try to improve upon them in the future.Nikto said:I really like your work, any chance you could do variations without the 'textured' backgrounds?

And for everyone that likes these, I'm putting out a formal request for high quality 2008 tour posters. If anyone has any ideas as to where to get these, PLEASE let me know! I've even contacted Ames. Bros directly and was (unceremoniously) shot down!
FYI, not the actual posters, just digital representations of them.Post edited by cacarr1 on0 -

I couldn't have said it any better...Thank You!capthowdy1027 said:This is by far the best thread this message board has ever seen. Thank you so much cacarr1. This is going to cause a huge project for me haha. Gotta save em all, then probably organize them by year, then add to folders... I better get busy. I've updated Oslo 2014 as I was never happy with it (nor most of the other Rhys Cooper artwork...my interpretations, not his original work):0 -

Thanks man, another dumb idea I just had is to make bootleg covers of the 2013 Calgary show with the variant of the Calgary posters. Also, make a bootleg cover of the 'riot act' poster from the 2013 Seattle show.cacarr1 said:
