Framing tour stickers

First of all, thanks to the 10C (or whoever's idea it was) to make show specific stickers for the US tour. Had a blast trading these and meeting other members in the process. Thanks to everyone who traded with me! :)

I'm looking for ideas to display them. Is anyone else framing them? This is what I have come up with so far but I'd love to see what others are doing.

    That looks great!

How did you attach the stickers to the backer? Assuming they are not "stuck"there.

I was thinking of those acid-free hinges you use for mounting stamps?

I haven't attached them yet, but I was going to use double sided acid free archival tape

I just stick mine to the top of my Macbook Pro. Got a nice layer going and have started to cover up the older ones. 8-)

Rather than starting a new thread, I found this and decided to bump it. Has anybody else come up with any ideas for their stickers or completed any projects. To the OP, what size matting and frame did you use?

I'm bumping this again, because I want to know if everyone is framing stuff by year or by tour and do you keep a second set in a smaller frame for just the shows you attended?

More importantly, do we need to use acrylic and spacers when framing vinyl stickers? Would the stickers get damaged if they touch the cheap polystyrene plastic that comes with cheap frames? Do I need foamcore backing? Where does one acquire a single colored mat the size of a standard frame? Does double sided archival tape come off clean?

You can buy a full size matte at Michaels or similar craft store
I did it for my wrigley pennant.

I have not framed stickers, though I would probably stick the stickers to a mat backing (if not adhered to something, with temperature changes and in a verticle position, stickers tend to curl).
I don't know if foamcore is acid-free so if you use foamcore you run the risk of the vinyl discoloring.
Mats can be purchased from michael's or any frame shop, they can cut it to size for you as well.
Archival tape comes in temporary and permanent, if you use temporary, you again run the risk of the stickers curling or falling inside the frame.
If you are so inclined, you can get cardstock in an 80# weight, stick the stickers to it, then carefully cut out around the sticker, then frame them in a floating style inside the frame.

I've taken my ticket stubs from the shows I've attended and framed them with the corresponding sticker. I'm using an 8x8" frame, the cheap ones with the glass pops in. These frames are like $4-5 a piece. Just set the sticker and ticket in place on the black backing that comes with it, no glue or tape. I then wedged a piece of foam between the backing and frame. I think they look cool. Too stupid to figure out how to post a picture though...

I stick them to blank magnets and cut them to fit.

The foamcore I have is acid free. I want to avoid permenantly sticking the stickers to anything because I have commitment issues. I also don't want to stick them to stuff and cut them out because my hands are not what you'd call "steady"

Ok, then get 2 sheets of plexiglass and sandwich the stickers between them and stick it in a frame. I have commitment issues as well...I do like the magnet idea since I collect magnets.

Damn that's dope. With the wristband too.

I had mostly print at home TM tickets unfortunately, but I think I might copy your idea for at least a a few shows.
