There's dozens and dozens available for sale on Discogs. Most of them are in the UK though so shipping might cost you.

Forgive my ignorance but is Dessert Sessions the name of the band? If so I have never heard of them. Can you suggest a good introductory starting point - maybe their best known album?

Jed, it's a side project of Josh Homme. He meets with friend musicians and they just jam away and record. Some songs on these albums later became qotsa songs, slightly altered...

I love them too... I was out there on the hunt as well, I loved 5/6, Poetry for the Masses/ Black Anvil Ego. #A1 is driving me nuts 8-)

Well, I ordered on discogs, but it turned out my LPs (got 3/4 too) are bootlegs. They look nice, with coloured vinyl etc, but they are fake. At least I didn't pay a lot. The guy first sent me 3/4 and when I said it's not the right one, told me to keep it and sent me 5/6.

Now, when I go and look out for stuff like this, I look here first to see what I'm actually looking for :) Maybe it helps you too.

It's a pretty good overview, including pictures etc. I want 9 & 10 still, but they pop up all the time on discogs too, so I'm not worried. One day I will get it.

On Discogs, they are very upfront about whether they're bootlegs or official. It's in the release notes. There are a few bootleg Dessert Sessions, however if you look in the right releases, there's real ones. Good luck.

I was still relatively new to the whole vinyl thing when I got these, didn't really think about bootlegs  :shifty: We all learn by doing. And I'm still playing my bootlegs.

:lol::lol: That is true. I think of late the combination of food and vinyl has me very turned off. Feels wrong somehow (and I'm a huge fan of both!). See this "New Vinyl Store Opens in Brooklyn, Also Sells Groceries ": http://www.wnyc.org/story/whole-foods-g ... m=facebook

    Oh, and bump for OP!

    Oh, and bump for OP!

Ya the trend of edibles mixed with music shopping seems to be on the rise. A restaurant just opened up in London, Ontario that has a proper record store in their lobby. Should we blame Starbucks?

"Sorry OP, on with your search!" bump.

Edible vinyl......hmmmmm.....that would be the ultimate stoner record!!!! A 4 lp set would turn into a 3 lp set real easy!!!

I'm sure Jack White is already thinking about how to make this happen

Back to the original topic - would be cool if someone has one to trade with OP!

The prices of these have been going down a lot on discogs, lately. Good luck on finding the next ones :)
