Where did you get the European press? All the ones I have seen in the UK and Ireland are US versions.

Was wondering the same too. What Records, Banquet Records & Universal Music UK said all their copies that they sold online were all Made in the USA.

I brought a Euro press on RSD at a small shop in Toronto. My guess is they got those instead of the faulty pressings....didn't help much though, side 2 had a huge scratch in it.

Was it truly a new pressing in the UK or just a UPC sticker added to the back by the distributor?

How did both pressings manage to have the same gash on side 2?

You can see the cat codes are different. Etching also different on them. Also the sleeve on the American cover is a few mm bigger

siade a has the same written inscription in the runout, but also has the following stamped on it
    www.gzvinyl.com - 3749369-A and 112900E1/A and GOLDEN
    side 2 has
    3749639-B and 112900E2/A and GOLDEN

there are 2 scratches the big one gets the end of Pendulum, and all of Let the Records Play, the smaller one is 1/2 of LTRP, and the start of Sleeping By Myself.

the good thing is when I brought it the guy rung it up as $0.28, instead of $28

Are you talking about the US or UK version? Is this a pressing fault or were you unlucky?

    Thanks

it is the Euro version, no idea if it is a pressing fault, probably unlucky as I haven't seen too many complaints about the euro pressing
