The mountains sing its song to the morning light
The hobbit dances to the moon
Everywhere the daylight chases me
And the night is coming soon.
The old man sits upon his stool made of stone
Playing songs of loneliness to the fog that rests below his home
His violin weeps as the condor circles above
Moving in flight to the music that wakes the sleeping dove.
Now the wolf is on the trail and the hare is on the run
Loneliness and hunger ,this new day has begun .
And the old man plays his lonely song
As the daylight chases me
And from miles away I can hear the condor cry.
Is it crying out to me..
And the hobbit dances to the moon
Lifting his feet and moving to the music
As the old man plays his song
now the fog has fallen into the valley below
Bringing the mountains song to the wolf and the hare
As the violin weeps and wakes the sleeping dove
And still the daylight chases me
