When does he usually do this? Before the opening act comes on or in-between the opening act and when PJ comes on? Sorry for the ignorance, PJ concert virgin here and I wanna know when to get my ass in my seat. Thanks.

    but they are rare. odds are good you won't see one. I never have. but get your ass there early, just in case ...

    Well, they used to be rare. In 98, 00, 03, he probably did it like 5-10 times the whole tour maybe. But on the VFC tour and in Canada, he actually did it like every night, so who knows, maybe it will be something he is going to keep doing every night now.

    At the Cleveland show I believe he came out at like 7:22 or so.
    words seem so out of place.

    I wouldn't say they are that rare. Of the 11 Pearl Jam headlining shows I've been to, he's done 6. but, my dumbass only showed up for 5 of them. I guess the odds are 50/50

    I think you are just ridiculously lucky. I have no way of backing this up, but I bet he does a pre-set at *maybe* 10 percent of the shows all-time. You should try your hand at the lottery.
