I have a question regarding Ziggo Dome - how bad is it regarding smoking - I want to bring my kid to the show but don t want him to get passively high during the show :)
(Berlin would be another option but although it s outside, people smoke there quite a lot)
  • I try to get the tickets to Leeds :P
    Leeds 2014 / Milton Keynes 2014 / Barcelona 2018 / Lisboa 2018
  • Entered the lottery for Amsterdam tickets. Lets see how that plays out.

Is it just me, or should 10C come up with some sort of way to pass on/sell tickets? I fully appreciate the reasons for the strict rules, however, considering that the purchase is made 6 months in advance lots of stuff could get in the way (kids getting ill, work, cancelled/delayed flights etc.). As I live in Denmark I wouldn't be able to stop by, pick up the tickets and give them to someone else.

The possibility of passing on to other 10C'ers only, passing on without wristbands or something along those lines does not seem totally unreasonable. Or does it? Or maybe being able to pass on with a signed power of attorney with a copy of my photo ID (or even the actual ID) thereby eliminating the risk of someone selling the tickets to someone random on Ebay.

I could of course take my chances at the general sale, but then I of course would have worse chances and I would not get a wristband - and as I do of course intend to actually go that would just be stupid not to have.

Especially this is a problem as I will be travelling with someone who, in the event that I for whatever reason cannot go, will also lose his ticket (along with air-ticket, hotel etc.). It would only be fair that I reimburse him for the loss that I am responsible for. That would then cost me two tickets, to air-fares and a hotel totalling at least $1,150 due to the flight prices from where I live.

I don't wanna be the complaining type as I generally think this whole 10C ticket thing is excellent and also find the tickets to be priced reasonably compared to similar concerts in Europe. I just think the financial risk of inviting a friend to go is a bit unfair.

Anyways, maybe I don't get the tickets and will have to try getting (unrestricted) general sale tickets on Friday.

Never had smoking problems at Ziggodome. Once in a while I have seen one or two people smoking something,
but, from my experience, it should no be a problem
  • Is there a special link to get to the 10c tickets? I don't remember having to use the email to get my Fall tour fix or get rejected for wrigley.

I get it, but if you think there is a concern that you can't make it you should go with the public sale. Indirectly this helps 10c tickets for the locals. It would be chaos if we all could buy tickets and transfer them. People would abuse the system and start scalping.
  • My point is that I expect to make it but that there is always a risk. And that that risk is very expensive.

Allowing a friend to pick up the tickets by showing my actual drivers license surely wouldn't mean chaos and it would solve the problem.

Hope it won't be a problem for me but I'm sure it will for someone.

In Holland it's forbidden to smoke inside buildings. So Ziggo Dome will be smoke free. :D

Had to switch Vienna to Stockholm (with Berlin) in lottery. Little conflict with schedule vs other activities that week. Would have had to take a bit too tight (and risky) travel schedule. We'll visit Vienna other time..

Also, apparently bosses appreciate two days off better than three days off. Huh, go figure :?

So Leeds is the closest show for me but because my automatic membership renewal happens to be the exact same day as the ticket announcement I won't be able to enter the lottery, doesn't seem very fair. think I would rather just try my luck with the public sale, at least then if they add extra dates that I'd prefer then I will have a chance of getting rid.
Its quite rubbish having a renewal date in December. It means you get the 10c gifts in February following year all with 2013 splashed over it.

    Hi guys
When does the public sale starts?
And from your experience how long till sold out from the sale start?
    Thanks!
Shows tend to get sold out pretty quickly (Stockholm last year was sold out in 10 minutes, if I remember right). I'd say this tour tickets will be gone in 10-20 minutes as LB has been selling well, but it varies. I wouldn't waste time on purchasing tickets...

I can confirm that Stockholm last year was sold out very quickly. I couldnt catch it since I opted to purchase Berlin tickets first. It was traumatic.
What's your part, who you are?

    2012: Arras, Berlin 1-2
    2013: Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires
    2014: Milano, Trieste, Vienna, Berlin
    2016: NY MSG 1

That doesn't seem right. I mean I understand, shit happens, but if you have Auto-renewel set up then surely you are "always" a member? If that happened to me, I'd be livid. Just sayin...
  • Hi there,

So happy to see them again this summer! It's gonna be a rockin' spring for me in Holland, as I've already tickets for Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails and Tori Amos.

My drawing entry for Amsterdam is confirmed. I've only marked GA, as I really prefer standing. When I don't get tickets through the Ten Club I will try to get standing (or even seating) tickets through the public sale. This means a risk to get bad seating tickets or even no tickets at all. I doubt about changing my drawing preferences and to add reserved seating tickets as my second choice. Then I probably don't have to go for the public sale and I'm sure to have good seating places, but that excludes the option to get standing tickets through the public sale after all.

    What do you guys do?

if i was you,i would enter second option reserved tix..cos 1st,more chances to get tix, second the venue is so awesome ans seated area when 10c will have seats is amazing..+ u can try to trade your reserved to 10c GA or public sale GA
    not easy,but still more chances

Well that's true. But on the other hand, last year it had been already three years since last album. Now there's some leverage from success of Lightning Bolt, so the band is on higher demand I'd assume. Just speculating
