Don't know what to expect in our CT country town Saturday. Hope media stands down. Sirens says it all. Listening to these great lyrics and recall last year ... we all lean on one another.

Can't even imagine. It makes your heart sink from utter sadness. There are no words. Have to believe the grief is worldwide, it allows us to keep faith that good triumphs over evil and always will. Those lost will never be forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers to all the families and the Sandy Hook community.
  • best of luck to you. Still bothers me.

    Our thoughts are with Newtown.

My husband and I ran the half-marathon in Hartford in October. At the start, I saw a group of women running in memory of the children who were killed -- they each had a child's photo on the back of their shirt. I had to fight back the tears.

I hope for the sake of everyone in the town that the media exercises some restraint.
All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.
