Ed explains 'Whipping' as a song "... about getting hit in the face, turning your cheek and getting hit again. Come to think of it, all the songs are about that." 'The Kids Are Alright' is solo by Ed, accompanying himself on guitar. Neil Young joins PJ in a surprise 'Act of Love' encore.

First show - Bristow 2010

Favorite show - Alpine PJ20 Night 1. Obviously an amazing weekend and shows for many different reasons, but got lucky and scored lottery 9th row front and center. Release that night was probably the best musical experience of my life. Goosebumps. It literally felt like I was lifted off the ground from where I was at from the energy in the air. Will be tough to top.

I've been to 7 shows until now

My first was Arnhem 2006 and it was great, partly because I had waited 6 years to finally see them after what had to be my first show got cancalled. Arnhem was great got to see Leash, Why go, Insignificance, I got Id, Bushleaguer, Man of the hour a Better man with No woman, no cry intro and an Alive, Rockin in the free world, Yellow ledbetter goodbye.
And my first song ever was Release which is a great way to start things of.

My favorite is Rotterdam 2009 it was a great night the crowd was really into it and listening back to the bootleg they were much tigher that night than on both Amsterdam nights in 2012. Although I must say Amsterdam night two was the biggest experience on the night itself. But Rotterdam has the advantage that it is a hometown gig for me so....
