Anybody Score an Emek Whale Shark?

Thing sold out in seconds.

I was going to get a print for my daughter for Christmas, but, dayum!

S'OK. I think she'll dig the framed Cracker Jack I got for her, although not nearly as much as she'd dig the whale shark.

Oh well. I'm broke as hell anyway, so it's probably for the best.

    EDIT: Jesus! Looking at those photos -- she's only 3, so I think there's just a year and a half or so between those. It's true. They do grow up fast.

    It might not have even mattered.

    I was F5'ing like crazy, clicked Buy the moment it came up, and was taken directly to a page that told me it was sold out -- it wasn't even a "had it in my cart then lost it" sale, just sold out like that.

    Actually it was on there for almost 2-3 minutes. Longest an Emek has lasted that I've noticed.

    there was one of these up for auction at the Seattle pre party that Emek donated prior to it even being released to public....i bid on it, but maxed out at 120$ went for around 160 mark i believe. its not even that nice in person.

    Ya that's crazy, don't even get how that happens. Maybe you can score one for a reasonable price when they inevitably show up on that other site.

    I was gonna buy it...had it ready to go in Paypal. But I have way too many expenses right now to justify the $90 overall cost. I'm sure it's gonna be an amazingly beautiful print in person! Lucky you, those that pulled the trigger!
