Well GF, he's still not a Hitler or Stalin but man, that does look bad bad bad.
I had a poli sci prof once who said, "Because we expect out president to do a million dollar job we should pay him (sic) a million dollars a year". The most humble servants are volunteers. Maybe instead of a million dollars it should be a volunteer job.
But I'm not sure the American people want a humble president. The last humble president we had was Jimmy Carter. That was one of the things he was most hated for as a president and one of the things he is most loved for as a proponent for peace. We're still a Rambo Nation."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -
How often do WORLD LEADERS get a chance to hang out with nothing political at sake? This memorial service was promoted as a celebration of Mandela’s life and held in a stadium where the atmosphere was song and dance, cheering and reflecting. What better way than having these Leaders who dodge shit every day, from every damn direction being able to kick back and have normal moments.
For this he’s being demonized as a pathological narcissist and compared to some of the worst mass murders in human history. I’m at a lost to understand the so-called scholarly evidence, yet, in reading the article, I could make the argument that this person is nothing more than your average Obama hater.SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.0 -
Wait..people still support Obama? Man, every time I stray from the real forum topics on this site I get more and more shocked.
But hey..to each their own. Trying to change someone's political view is like convincing a Cowboys fan to become an Eagles fan.'08- Camden 1-2 '09- Chicago 2; Spectrum 1-4

My wife and I went out to an Italian restaurant in Sacramento for lunch earlier this week and these two black guys and a young Hispanic lady sat down near us and (that's what's cool about Sacramento- it's so much more diverse than Placerville) they sat down and started talking about football. One of the black dudes said, "That's like trying to find a Cowboys fan anymore. There aren't any- no Cowboys fans anywhere anymore. None!" He kind of glanced over at me for confirmation and I nodded ever so slightly and he smiled back ever so slightly. I'm sorry, 63schoefflin, but if this guy is right, there are no Cowboy fans to convert. As for straying from the real forum topics I, ah, ah, well, I'm not sure what the point was.
