PEARL JAM Loving Hawaiians

Hey Guys, I will be in Hawaii Jan 14-28 and was hoping to get some advice on cool live music places, cheap eats/bars, and gentle surfing spots for a Howlie from Chicago. I will be spending half that time on Kauai in Princetown and the rest in Honolulu near the Hilton Hawaiin Village. I will have a car in Kauai but not in Honolulu. Any suggestions would be very helpfu and much appreciated. Mahalo, Dan
