Why not have a meet and greet before the show? Many bands such as the Goo Goo dolls have a lottery. I was able to win and get a chance to meet and get a picture with the band. Wouldn't that be great to actually meet Ed? And get a chance to get your picture with the band?

  • A lot of the times Ed takes his bike and rides around the parking lots early...say a show is at 8 or so, he will be out there around 330 or so...sometimes Mike is outside chilling right before the opening band is on or while they are on

the goo goo dolls did this a few months ago in an indie store next to the coffee shop i work at, needless to say i don't think this would work to well with pearl jam as the demand would be through the roof... cool idea though

It's not really PJ's style to do something with such structure.

I think they prefer to meet fans when they're just out and about doing their normal daily things. I mean, look at the number of stories reported here as I Met ________. They always talk about being in a restaurant or walking the city streets and just happening to run into one or two band/crew members.

It's much cooler and more authentic that way.

I'm with you Rhinomatic! Meet and greets, while a cool idea, would make it more of a "your chance to meet these famous people" thing--I don't think the guys in Pearl Jam would be comfortable with that.
