Mike's evenflow solos

Hi everyone,

Just wondering when Mike started to play extended solos in evenflow...

Does anybody know when was the very first time that Mike unleashed his power?

    hmmmm..good question and topic.

    need to search alot for this one..ill be back at you..

    and need to be sure what " extended"..meaning,how long or short add in the original solo he added..

    I really remember Evenflow taking on a new direction on the 2000 tour. I believe the trend started in 95, but the jams really kicked in around 2000, and then they got longer in 2003.

    the thing here when he started..
    i remember searching that "we belong together" tag ,when started 1st time eddie to do it,and wasnt easy find..took me hours
    so solo extended will be not easy to find when 1st started..
    but good thing for search it!! :)

    Really it's the '03 tour that extended the jams. I remember '95 being when Mike would take over much more, but it wasn't really extended until 2000. But still in 2000 the average Evenflow was 5:15-6:00 mins long. It wasn't until 2003 that you started seeing 7-8 minute versions.

    Sure... I was listening to the good ol' "live on two legs" and Mike's evenflow solo... it gives you a clue.

    But, although all the solos serves the purpose to gave Ed a rest, I dont think the solos started with that reason in particular... I mean, the man has Talent!!

    well, I dont know if the exact term is "jammin" LOL... but the solo part may be referred to the song solo (as in the single).
