Hartford, Oakland, and then Worcester 1 or 2, and then maybe Dallas or Baltimore
Sorry, can't be Oakland. That show ranks 40 out of the 40 shows I've seen and so it cannot be top three on this tour. Length does not equal a good show by itself.
However, Spokane might be top 3 all time that I've seen, which is saying a ton (10th anniversary, 2 Gorge, Ireland 2000, Albuquerque 1998, etc...)

It sure looked decent on paper but still near the bottom (SIXTH!) of my 2 shows in Philly-less and 2 shows in BKYN-less list...Those 2 Canadian efforts seem like good lists, too!
I'm sure the boots will help it to make more sense.
Dallas and OKC are going to get overlooked because of the handful of shows that followed, but those two sets were well organized and the performances of both nearly flawless. Sure, they were "shorter" shows by a couple songs, however, the substance in each is tough to beat.
1. Charlottesville
2. Spokane
I was having trouble adding a 3 because these 2 were so out of this galaxy, but looking over the ones that look great to me again, I'll add this tie as 3:
3. Hartford tied with Baltimore
We could have worse problems though, as fans of this band, than having this many *unbelievable* setlists to choose from. So grateful that the energy of the shows matched the setlists (for the 2 I saw, and the many I'll hear).
2013 was a great year to be a PJ fan!

Basically ever damn set is just wonderful this year. Best tour, setlist wise in a long time (probably since 2005). Its really hard to rank these setlists. Honorable mentions got to include: Spokane, Phoenix, LA 2, and Oklahoma City. Leg 2 had the best damn sets.

A agree with these sentiments, but just keep in mind it's a "what looks best on paper" type question.

I was lucky enough to be at the SD show and it was truly an amazing night. I love the way they ended the first set in Portland with Spin The Black Circle, Rats, Lukin, Last Exit, and RVM.

Great thread. For those, like me, who want to make use of this information to "scout" which 2013 bootlegs to buy, this is essential.
Pulling together the responses from this thread—plus a sister thread in the Given To Fly forum—we find that the following shows received multiple mentions for strength of setlist:
Charlottesville, 25
Phoenix, 13
San Diego, 12
Spokane, 10
Worcester-1, 6
Brooklyn-2, 5
Hartford, 5
Portland, 3
Baltimore, 3
Los Angeles-2, 3
Brooklyn-1, 2
Los Angeles-1, 2
Since 10 Clubbers were asked to line up the shows in terms of setlist, we can take the ranking one step farther and apply a weighted system. If a first-place vote is worth 3 points, a second is worth 2 and a first is worth 1, this is how the top 10 setlists stack up:

I think San Diego was the best length wise (I think it was the longest of the tour) combined with substance. Can't go wrong with All Night, In Hiding, Army Reserve, Light Years, Sleight of Hand, Sleeping by Myself for the first time, Speed of Sound, and Leaving Here!
