i can finish at 4.30 or 5 but REALLY cant take the risk of getting home a bit late and missing out so cos the traffic is so unpredictable in town its a fookin joke. am just gonna stay here til i manage to get some. hows about you?
day off today, just pure luck that in coincides with the pre-sale. i remember last year trying to get astoria tickets at work phoning america time and time again from the work phone ha ha!! worst thing was I was getting through everytime to start off with but thought it was engaged! the american dial tone is supposed to sound like that!! what a nightmare, that day still haunts me!! then the ticketmaster touts got the rest within seconds, gutted i misswed that show. Guess thats whats giving me obsessive compulsive disorder trying to get tickets today!!!

just a reminder to everyone, make sure you are logged in the goods section, will save that vital time come 5pm - also have your bank card number copied and ready to paste ;-)

That's exactly what I was planning to do!

God, I'm so nervous... I really shouldn't be. Plus, I can foresee that I won't get anything done today before I get those tickets!!

  • surely that wont make too much difference having ya number ready to paste, soon as ya click to buy they aint gonna release em again before ya can put the number in are they???? blimey the worlds gone mad, mad i say!!!

i dont know how it works really?? just guess the confirmation comes in the form of an email, thats what happened with Paris tickets. im sure everyone wil get them fine

  • Damn, i'm so frickin' nervous about today. I don't remember being THIS nervous last year before getting the other Euro tickets.

I'm so scared that tickets will sell out too quickly. But then i keep telling myself that Milan was a very popular 10c show last year and i managed to get tickets. And i managed to get Astoria too, so that's gotta be a good sign right?

And stupid university emailed me saying that even if my exams are finished by mid-June, i'm required to stay until the 29th to start my dissertation. No frickin' way am i staying for that! It'll be a stupid 15 minute meeting where i talk about what i'm interested in writing about. No thanks.

    End rant.

I feel like this too!! I'm getting tickets for me and my Dad. It's so cool, considering when I got into PJ (2001) it was impossible to convince my Dad (who is musically insane) that PJ were good, yet I got him with bootlegs, and then we went to Madrid, seeing as how Dublin was so fricking insane to get tix for.

I have the money, I have the time, I have the inclination, and I am still super worried I won't get any. Hope for the worst, then the best can surprise you :D

I am so so stoked for this, I have a lecture 3-4, but I dunno if I'll bother going. I have dutiful friends who will take notes, I guess. I'd feel bad missing it, but I'd feel TERRIBLE missing PJ tickets.

    That's settled. I'm staying home!!!

Ah, ok - thanks for the info.

Good luck to you all in the pre-sale, I did the same when Rush toured here a few years back, their first visit to the UK in 13 years at the time (yep, checked my sums this time!). I think I booked the day off work to book tickets!

    Cheers,

I'd put more money on it if you can just in case :o you don't want to be £5 short :o

Can anyone ring the venue and find out?
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life
Had I not found this love with you
  • It was someone on the Red Mosquito forum who found a way to get into the 10c server and look at the upcoming things for sale. They posted links but 10c must've found out because you can't do it now.

Wembley is going to be 181 dollars for the pair, Dusseldorf is 170 dollars, and Holland is 151 dollars. That's all i can remember!
