  • I love Primus. I have seen them lots of times over the past 20 years and they are always fun. Recent shows have really cool stage shows that go along with them. As a bonus, the Primus fans (in my experience) are some of the coolest fans around. As a true Primus fan I have chanted 'Primus Sucks' at their shows many times. I thought that you were joking with the thread title, since this is a frequent fan chant for them, but I see you actually dislike them. Oh well, that is certainly your choice!

Not so much Mudhoney for me. Last time I saw them was in Vancouver opening for PJ and I thought they were sort of painful to watch.

Later this month I'm going to a retirement party for someone who worked in law enforcement. His daughter is married to one of the Primus band members and he (maybe the whole band) will be there. I'll let them know how much Pearl Jam fans think they suck.

Nawwww, just kidding. I won't say a word to them. I value my life and freedom.

All kidding aside, I did meet this band member once already and I have to tell you, he seems like a very nice guy- one very cool dude. I'm sincerely looking forward to seeing him again and hope to get to meet the band! :)

Primus - Wynona's Big Brown Beaver

Plus, they wrote a song called "Kalamazoo" for their "Brown" Album.

    Immortals, in my book.

HA! Very cool! Kind of a cross between Wall of Voodoo, Captain Beefheart and Mission of Burma. Hard to categorize this group, but I like that.

    Primus is awesome live though.

In regards to Mudhoney- where is a good album to start at? and yes I'm serious.

I have the 5 dollar Bob's Mock Cooters stew ep and like it. So where is a good starting point for them?

Another very cool video/song. Thanks Jon!

I had the chance to see Mudhoney when they opened for PJ in Missoula but the volume was intimidating, even from outside the venue.
