VH1: LA Fans- How do I get there???

VH1 Rock Honors is coming soooo quick! I am flying in to LAX on that Saturday, and not renting a car.....will an LA fan please share with me the least expensive way to get round trip transpo to and from Pauley Pavillion? Your help is truly appreciated!
BTW-I have a spare ticket to this historic event........

    LA is a tough place to get around without a car. No real subway or train system.

    I am not an expert on LA, but i lived there for 8 months, there might be a way to get to Pauley Pavillion without a car, but unlike cities like New York a car is pretty much a neccessity in LA.

    Pauley Pavilion is on the UCLA campus, so any transportation that goes to UCLA will get you there. There may be airport shuttles to UCLA. Not sure without doing some internet research.

    If I were you, I'd take a Super Shuttle if you are not interested in renting a car or cabbing it. I would not take a bus unless there is a special UCLA bus that stops at LAX.

    There is something called the super shuttle. It will pick you up and drop you off pretty much anywhere.

    It will cost you $16.00 each way.

    I'm heading to a Super 8 in North HOllywood. 1/2 hour away from Pauley Pavilion. Perhaps not the best choice but oh well.

    I'll likely check into the room and quickly get a taxi to UCLA and hang out there for the majority of the day.
