I've been to a bunch of shows, and this one was really great. I was very proud of my home state, the crowd was excellent.

I won't detail this thing because it's been done all over the place. What should be said is that Deep was very, very excellent. The thing I love that they've done is added punch back to songs that lost it or put it where it never was before. Why Go comes to mind too.

This show was excellent and got the Oakland out of my mouth. Thanks fellas!

OH, and Civil War right before the show didn't hurt at all. Better luck next year, Beavs!

Portland crowd, awesome! Loved the setlist.

My tickets were on the floor, 2nd row behind GA. Awesome seatmates-they were really into the show. Really sad I didn't get into town until later in the afternoon-everything was a big rush.

To those who saw me pulled out of the concert last night, I'm fine. I overheated with having thermals on with it being so cold during the day(know now to take them off before the show) & collapsed 3 times but they pulled me out & I'm fine & dirty-franking to Spokane now. :)

Awesome!! 3xs and still trucking..dress down next time!!

So far I've got 25/34 songs, and I'm missing:

    Low Light
    Sometimes
    Lightning Bolt
Infallible (found a YT version, but the audio is terrible)
    After Hours
    Rats
    Rearviewmirror
    Wasted Reprise

If you are able to provide any of these, or better versions of what I have already, lemme know. Thanks!

Spitball thoughts while I stay up to catch an early flight back home…

The crowd was fantastic. Seeing poofs of confetti fly out of the pit every once and a while was really funny, loved it. I thought the band was pretty perfect tonight, actually maybe it was the crowd that was perfect. DEEP sounded amazing. SIRENS was played faster than previous shows. Interesting. That change over to when Ed starts on the acoustic, when it’s perfect is beautiful. YOU ARE!!! Awesome. Just so funky and cool. I loved hearing it live. Some cool visual effects were done on the screen during it too. RVM was insane. MOTHER was perfect. Too funny when Stone played the first notes of ALIVE instead of starting BLACK. Then the band got a little jazzy. Nice.

REM and Pearl Jam have been my favorite bands since I was 12. I only saw REM once and my world was half-crushed when they broke up, so I was stoked when Peter Buck was on stage tonight. I hit my seat partner I was so excited.

First time visitor to Portland and this city lived up to its weird reputation. I’ve lived in NYC and L.A., traveled alone to countries where the alphabet looks nothing like English, but it wasn’t until I visited Portland that a crazy man chased me down the street yelling “Sir! I admire your body!” (ps – I’m a lady). Thankfully I out ran him. Portland keeps it weird.

all of your posts should come after 2am - i laughed my arse off at this.

Hearing/seeing/participating in the Sirens outro was far more meaningful to me than I could have expected. I love it - it adds so much to the song. Sirens and Even Flow was a mini setlist for me that alone was worth the price of admission. Friggin' behind the back Mike!

Came out from NY to see the show,it kicked ass!
    I had seats in sec 334 row n seat 15 and 14.
I love to rock out, but when you are that far away from the stage it's ok to dance and have a good time.
A woman in the seat behind us screaming the whole time and tried to guess what songs the band was going to play next. She shouted at the top of her lungs the whole night. My friend and I move to find other seats and we were told to move back to our old seats. The venue was great and the security staff was very nice.
My issue is that I missed a lot of the show since I left my seat to get away from this person who was yelling before, durning and after the show. I understand it's a concert, but I was there to see PJ not 'Christy" sing the music of Pearl Jam.
Concerts are fun and you let you hair down when you see you favorite band, but people should be aware that others are there as well that also paid and traveled to see the band.

I hope to see the band again soon.

    Thank you,
    Michael

    Thank you,

Due to things beyond my control, I had to listen to a number of the songs from the concourse hall right outside the interior of the arena. Didn't mess up my evening though- I still could hear the music, and am catching up on things visually via Youtube. We are blessed!

I'm listening to the show and hearing the story about Thomas Young again. Does anyone know more about this story? It sounded like he's a wounded vet that came to Oregon to use their death with dignity law, but he was at the show. All in all, sounded pretty remarkable.

I hit three shows, Oakland, Portland and Spokane. Oakland nearest my hometown, arena I saw my first concert in the 80s. Lots of friends, and I got lit up proper and enjoyed the show (first time singing Even Flow in the bathroom with everyone, lol!). Rockin fun! Continued drinking and cooking all Weds!

But Portland.... After Oakland I was kickin myself for going on. Oakland would have been enough. Had a great Thanksgiving and was just not excited to wake up and travel... 2-3 pairs of fans half asleep at airport for that 9am flight north. Little Ts was a great start to Portland, a big box of pastries and bread to snack on. Powells, my gawd... Glad we brought an expando suitcase, carryon coming up, checked bag going home! Hit a few more shops around the area, girl loading up...

Portland and Spokane traveling with my daughter, seeing some country, rented a car, drove the Columbia, take in the sights, quality time with the girl watching her snapchat with friends for 72 hours... Spokane was extra awesome with the Steve set list - I have an immediate stake in ALS awareness, so it hit me hard when I figured out what was up... (and disappointed that Eddie couldnt step on THAT soapbox for a moment). And we took all day Sunday exploring Spokane having lots of fun at vintage clothes stores (Glamarati!) and local craft shops.

But back to Portland... Thinking about the 3 shows I saw, Portland a slow simmer in the back of my mind. I really think this was the show I dug the most. Checked into the Crown Plaza ... with everyone ... girl took a nap while I grabbed tix and 45 mins in the merch line. Everyone in line around me making the drive to Spokane. The Emek! OH MY! Grabbed some sushi and strolled in about 8:20. 5th Row Center Floor reserved! (Curious - two empty seats in front of us, three to our right and one to our left, wasn't gonna complain! The singles are easy enuf to undersand, but two pairs empty?)

That slow build up just perfect. That first overwhelming explosion of cheers that wouldn't stop!

First five or so songs... F'n perfect! Best opening to a show! Was NOT expecting Deep! (Oceans is now the only Ten song I haven't heard live which makes me think, Vancouver, they played all of Ten this tour, huh? ) You Are, brilliant... And Infallible is my fav tune off LB. Woot! Over these 3 shows got 9/12 of LB!

But the first encore! My gawd. That was my favorite moment of all 3 shows. Saw The End's first performance at EV in Philly and that's a big one for me. Perfect lil set, Yesterdays!, Mother and then crushing with SOLAT/Why Go/Porch! Brilliant. Stick a fork in me, I'm done!

And so was my daughter after Better Man.... Joined the stream of people, yep, jetting during life wasted... Was kinda bummed to miss Peter Buck, but when I checked the last few songs, meh... Heard what I needed to hear. Wasn't going to get too upset with the girl if we were seeing them the next night!

Low Light, Sometimes, Animal, Deep, You Are, Infallible, Spin the Black Circle, Last Exit, Rats, Lukin, The End, All Those Yesterdays, Mother! Those are just the unique songs I got they didn't play in Oakland and Spokane, just amazing.

    And the Emek! Thanks Portland!

The entire experience (band, fans, city, special guests) was awesome. The only thing I did not like about this show was that it ended. I'm grateful just to see the band no matter what they play, so my highlights were being in GA (20+ years a fan and finally close to the stage), and that my sister got to hear “her songs” (The End, Just Breathe, and Black).

And this waiting for the bootleg stuff is driving me nuts. I hope they change this one a week junk soon so I don’t have to wait 3+ months for the show. Maybe during the long wait PJ20 will finally be released.

Best concert I've ever been to. I was standing next to the people throwing confetti and found some of it in my coat the next day. The setlist was excellent and so was the crowd.

This was my first show of the tour. Start of 5. Insane. So fun. Great setlist. I was there alone sitting first row on mikes side in the FC area. Turns out i was dancing like a madman and didnt realize it but the woman who was sitting next to me the whole night was Corin Tucker. |Realized it when she went up to join them for RITFW. She must have been annoyed. She sat there chill all night and I was going ape shit singing every word and dancing like an idiot. What can I say? This band brings out the best in me.
