31 songs I wonder if they are playing earlier or ignoring curfews. I see them in DC and wonder if there is a curfew?

Typically the curfew is a tight 11pm for most venues. Usually very tight in a more populated area, because everyone is union.
I know at MSG and most NY area venues the band can play until 11pm. If the band is in the middle of a song, the IATSE will typically give a 3 minute grace, but if the band goes over 11:03pm - they are charged an extra hour of overtime for load out (stagehands, electricians, loaders) which can translate to several thousands of dollars (my guess between an extra $3,000 to $10,000).
When I was working at Jones Beach Theater in NY, Neil Young was on the stage, and my boss kept radioing me to ask me the "atomic clock time"... but of course, he didnt give me the phone number of the atomic clock that I was supposed to call... but what I understand is that Neil Young's tour manager walked to the edge of the stage, rubbed his fingers together in the "money" sign, and Neil quickly ended the song.
