Hi all, It will be my first time in Seattle (ever!) to catch the show. I'm arriving few days before and wanted to ask the most qualified forum what are the right places to check out in the city? Bars/Clubs with the right music? any pre-show events 10C is doing on the day of the show?

  • A couple cool bars near the Seattle Center are 5 Point Cafe and Mecca. The 5 Point being one of the most famous dives in Seattle. Linda's up on Capitol Hill is a big "grunge" landmark and last place Cobain was seen alive.

Near Seattle Center for sight seeing is the location of the old Pearl Jam HQ at Terry and Thomas, which is now just an office building. The apartment building shown in PJ20 is at 22 John St. EMP is also worth checking out for the Nirvana Exhibit. Over in West Seattle you have Easy Street Records.

Seattle is a very inclusive and laid back city so you should not feel out of place anywhere.
