Portland GA ticket transfer

I just found out that a friend who won GA tix for Portland, won't be able to attend because of his newborn. He offered to transfer his tickets to me, but I am not sure that this will be possible.

Has anyone been successful requesting an exception to the no transfer rule?

    A friend of mine had a death in the family and they let him transfer his to me. It has to be a 10 Club member you are transferring to. My best advice, shoot them an email with all the information they are gonna need all at once. Names, member numbers, reason, etc.
