With the days before the Seattle show melting away like snow in front of a fireplace, a thought kept rolling around in my head... I always knew there are people like Cav and me out there. People who have found each other miraculously because of the band. Here on the boards, while touring, by sheer coincidence ... You name it. A little facebook group brought it to my attention that there will be quite a lot of us "PJ couples" at the Seattle show.
GiventoLukinKP and Smanchac will be on their honeymoon (congrats again, guys :wave:), comebackgirl and zoso will be celebrating his 5th year of being in the US, afroannnie and kw18 will be glowing because they will have gotten married on the day of the show, and Cav and I will be there too, not so newlywed anymore, but still on fire
We are like every other couple, but we have something special in common, and we all will be there, celebrating the end of a great tour together. A lovefest in Seattle with PJ as the party band
From what I read and experienced myself, we all have gone to quite a lot to be together with the ones we love. We all had to be brave, and courageous, some of us have been scarred from the past, some have had to change their life radically once they found their partner, moving countries, crossing oceans or states, getting accustomed to new surroundings and culture (and food :fp: ).
All throughout this time, PJ's music has been a binding element, a comforter, a mood enhancer, providing the soundtrack of our love.
I know that every couple has their own special song. Ours is You Are. I have never heard it live, and I would love for it to be played in Seattle, dedicated to the people out there who found their special someone because of PJ. For Ashlee and Kyle, for Elana and Tim, for Rochelle and Andrew, for Kelly and Stephen, for Katie and Michael, for Janet and Mike, for Alyse and Tony and everybody else who is in love or about to find love in this very night before or after the show... This is a request thread, but it is also meant to be a thank you to the band

Me and Kelly plan to tell our full story soon, after the honeymoon... But we did just get married and are that super happy couple who makes everyone sick because we never fight and are truly in LOVE!
We also met here on the forums as you mentioned... A very hard period of my life... And when I came to the boards for support, I had no idea I would meet the person I knew I would spend the rest of my life with.
I was in Texas, recently lost my fiancé/wife (together 14 years) and Kelly was in Chicago. After meeting in person in Seattle, we weren't apart too long before I moved here.
Since them we have traveled to 9 shows together (11 after this year) and me 35 shows total and her 16 total. We are super fans and love nothing more than pj (well, maybe our cats) have already traveled the world together (5 countries last summer) and are totally inseparable.
We also have been bringing our sign for "Rival" at our first three shows this year, and plan to add just married to ours as well. Vancouver and Seattle is our honeymoon and it will be our best trip yet!
This band means so much to so many of us... And the fact that its brought together so many couples, as well as so many people from far apart places.. It's a truly beautiful thing.
This guitar from this song keeps playing over and over again in my head lately....Then I saw this request for Seattle and hells ya I would love to hear it at my second show ever.
It's a great song. When my hubs and I were still dating (mostly on skype, cause I was in Germany and he in the States) we thought about what to engrave in our rings. We had lots of different ideas, but somehow we got stuck on You Are. And this is what it is now. Fits

Our wedding rings say.... Let me explain first..
Every time i start a run of a few Pj shows, I always get long road first. It took me 30 shows to get release as an opener but I saw long road at least 15 times..
That song also moves me very much having dealt with alot of close people passing away in my life... So long road is my song. It's always the "welcome home" type feeling song for me..
So Kelly had "And I've wished for so long.." engraved in my ring! It meant alot when I saw what she chose.
I put "You're True" inside of hers PJ releated and it speaks very much of how I feel about her..
