I like the song, very U2ish of old. I also liked the review of the Pearl Jam show from San Diego....that was a great set list.

  • I like U2. Didn't like the last album. Not keen on that song either

Pretty decent song. Nothing special. Has me mildly interested in the new album. Hope it's good! But it just sounds like the same old same old. I kind of abandoned U2 after 2004 to the point that I don't even have any of their stuff on my mp3 player or my music library. Maybe a few songs. I haven't even heard their latest album in fact. I used to be a pretty solid fan, but it just faded away for no particular reason. I can see myself getting back into them (their older stuff too) just because now they're on my mind...

Managed not to hear the song until I picked up the 10" vinyl on RSD Black Friday, but I like it in a low-key way. Feels like a cross between the mellower 2000s U2 and some of the mid-eighties B-sides/outtakes (like the Wide Awake in America tracks that didn't really fit on The Unforgettable Fire).
