I'm a clumsy idiot - ISO Yield (vinyl only is fine)

I just got Yield a couple of months ago, never played, and last night I dropped the record and it hit the corner of my turntable, and there is a great big fucking scratch through most of Side A now. :fp: :fp: :fp: There's $250 or whatever I paid down the drain. :roll: So now I am seeking to replace my brand new Yield. :fp: A completely thrashed jacket is fine though. I just need the vinyl itself to be in great shape (i.e. plays perfectly - should pretty much sound new). So if you have a spare Yield and the vinyl is in great shape, please consider. I am seeking a deal here (sorry for being blunt). I just paid tons for this album, and can't afford to pay that kind of price again. That's why I'm hoping someone has a copy with a trashed jacket but the vinyl is still in fantastic shape.... maybe you bought a new copy because you don't like thrashed jackets. :P Thanks!

    Going to hang on to it until I find a replacement. It's not even close to unplayable or unlistenable. It's just got a click each time the needle crosses the scratch (and I think it did a minor skip at some point during Given to Fly). If I don't find a really good deal for a replacement, I will still be playing this one.... And it's not even close to ruined enough for it to only be worth $10, but I would certainly be willing to sell it for cheap if I find what I'm looking for (I am a perfectionist when it comes to my vinyl. It's one of my flaws. :P The click will bother me forever). :)

    All i can think, is that with ONE LESS of these in the world, the black market price will go up by 30cents. THANKS pjSoul.

    yea, a good yield will sell for that no problem... of the No Code/Yeild/Binaural run, No Code seems to be the easiest to get now.

    Yes, you can get them cheaper.... You didn't buy a sealed one for $90, did you?! Mine was sealed, hence the higher price.

    Sorry that happened. I remember playing a valuable record to make sure it didn't have any imperfections, and I handled it like I handled my newborn son.

    But alas, people drop babies, and records; it happens, I'm sure you will get another.

    I almost dropped a baby last year too. But not quite. Don't worry, she's fine. :lol:;) .... Yeah, I'm very careful with my records... it just slipped! D'oh!

    May have already found a deal here - 10Cers coming through again. 8-)

    No, not sealed. Vinyl plays perfectly, which is all I really wanted. Cover has a few dings on corners and such but the vinyl itself is perfect.
