No Breath in Seattle since Jan 17,1992 !!! :? Is it time?
Correct me if I am wrong. According to PJ Stattracker, Breath has not been played in their hometown of Seattle since January 17, 1992. That is almost 22 years ago!
This is NOT a petition or a request
. I think this song is pretty high up on most fans favorite lists and at times when it shows up on a setlist, it elevates that show and that shows setlist in the eyes of many of us fans.
I just found it a little odd and a little surprising that one of their arguably best songs, for several different reasons, had not been played in Seattle for that long of a period of time.
Now, I will be in attendance at the Seattle show and if they do so happen to play Breath at some point during that evening, I will be very thrilled, overjoyed, and I may not be able to contain myself. If they do not play it, I will probably leave there very thrilled, overjoyed, & unable to contain myself because I just left a PJ show and in of all places, the city of Seattle.

I've been saying this at every seattle show I've been too (which is every arena/gorge show since july 22 1998). They never play breath in seattle.
We never get sonic reducer either.
When they played the real me two nights in a row last time, all I could think of was... they could of played Breath.
I would probably lose my shit if we got Oceans/Breath/Sonic Reducer in seattle. I can't remember the last time any of those songs were played in Seattle.
Weird, I totally thought they played Breath at the Gorge in 2005. I guess they didn't
They cross it off the setlist. I remember seeing the setlist posted on the internet after and it had breath on it.. they cross it out and never played it :(
Oceans is the song that has eluded me, although I like "Breath" more. :problem:

like the thread title says Breath hasn't been played in Seattle since '92. as for the PNW it was played in Vancouver in Sept '09
the only time Sonic Reducer was played in Seattle was Sept 20, 1992, but it's been played since in the PNW in Vancouver, the Gorge and Portland in Sept 1993
the one and only time Oceans was played in Seattle was on May 17.1991. otherwise in the PNW it's just been 2x's in Portland in Sept 1991 & May 1992
each would be great to hear but if it comes down to just one... my vote is pretty obvious

We had all of our flights/hotels booked and days off work. Then they announced Vancouver. If i put some effort into it I probably could of swung. I didn't.. and they played breath.
It's the only arena/gorge show I've missed out of Seattle/Vancouver since '98.... ugh.
It'd awesome if they resurrected these songs out West as we never get to hear them.
I won't deny it. I would be thrilled beyond belief if they did in fact play Breath.
So, would you guys be around for the rest of the show or would you black out from over excitement if, dare I say, ...
... they opened with Oceans followed by Breath !
I have thought in the past that Release into Breath would be very cool but I could go with Oceans for you guys.
I can't wait for Seattle. 2 weeks from tonight! Hopefully I can meet you guys there somewhere!

My favorite song ever. Got it at Philly 2 for the first time as well, what a moment after Ed’s intro saying that was usually song number 10 back in the day… and when I heard Matt hitting the hi-hat counting, 1, 2, 3… and then I lost my shit.
I started a thread for it to get played in Brooklyn and barely got any replies… I thought it was weird being a fan favorite song.
