Let the melt down begin

I am envious and happy for all of you who have a legit reason to purchase the mini-tour EC tickets this morning, and I wish you all the best of luck. Logistics and finances prevent me from participating in this round.

The cynical bastard in me is also waiting with a smirk on my face to read the evil threads that WILL be created within the hour of how the TC has cheated you out of TC tickets.

Just remember that TC tickets are NOT guaranteed. First come, first served - that's ALWAYS been the terms. Also, you will have another chance when ticketmonopoly sells the public tickets days later.

And if that doesn't appease you, chill out with your fingers crossed for a mid-west mini-tour... just like me. :D

Good luck! xoxo

I yearn for the old days too my friend. I hate the computer age for locking many of us out, but on the pro side, we get instant gratification in knowing we got the ticket.

Take the good with the bad.

yeah... because much less people did it. It was kinda of a pain to actually mail a letter. Much easier for people to do it online. Thus... less to go around.

i loved the index cards, too. The whole made me feel like part of a community as opposed to a wild animal scratching and clawing to get tickets. The low tech approach made it feel like it was a small band operating out of a garage and not a multi-million dollar corporation. It was fun. Now it's nerve wracking. But oh well, even if I don't get tickets, it certainly isn't the end of the world.

Its not like its the end of the world if you don't get TC seats and have to settle for "regular" seats though ticketmaster. I think there will be a lot of TC seats for these shows anyway. And I doubt this is their last tour. And I still think there will be other dates around the country later in the summer.

I hope to Jesus and Buddha you're right. So far, I'm only going to one concert this summer, The Police on July 26th... I'm wide open and available for anything Pearl Jamish the rest of the summer. :)

not really. i've got other things going on besides pearl jam, which by the looks of things put me in the vast minority on this board.
