OK so he has done each of the coasts... I hope he tours the heartland!! Any one agree? Plus, I think that includes Chicago again....

  • Disagree. Imagine the pack of assholes wearing 2 size too small Wranglers, cow shit covered generic timberlands, that would bring out of the woodwork? He learned his lesson playing for the Donkeys in Milwaukee. Skynard will be 'round soon though, save your change, that will be a hoot of a time.

Clears Throat ... coughs ... bit shocked ... and where do you live? How old are you? Ever traveled out of your own head for a few moments? : )

Are you suffering from tunnel vision colored by what you see on the news & tv?

Read the threads on Milwaukee. The major disruptive dude came here and apologized. It was also a small theater which had a lot to do with the noise. Milwaukee's a good city, ever been there?

I wonder what you think about Russia, China, Asia, India ...?

You need to get out more....from the small towns to large cities in WI, there is no difference than any other in the country...other than for the most part many people smile and say hello on the street, courteous, unlike so many other parts of the country I've been in ...in fact Madison has been ranked as one of the healthiest, coolest, liberal, educated cities in the COUNTRY dude. Wisconsin is awesome.

The assholes in Milwaukee came from Illinois anyway.... :)]

That said I don't see Ed here or anywhere else to soon....dudes gotta spent time earning his dues with diapers soon!

You would be surprised how many of us can read here in the heartland! I think it is a great idea and it needs to happen, however all of the screaming a-holes from the east coast shows might have ruined any future solo tour plans for the rest of us.

I put on my "going to town" clothes and headed up to Chicago for night 2 from St. Louis so I got to see Eddie solo. I would love it if he played St. Louis as well!

I think that may have been one of the funniest (albeit offensive as it gets) posts I have read in a while!!!!!!!!!F-ing hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bite my bullet....sheltered one.... ;)
  • Well i can think of several venues he could play just in Wisconsin/Minnesota alone that love acoustical music! A few bad apples have to ruin it for the majority I guess. It is obvious by some posts in this thread that there is ignorance among us whom like the others are ready for a GuitarHero rock out of Evenflow whom have no clue what Acoustical Music is all about! I suggest we as fans start requesting acoustical Pearl Jam and EdVed to our local radio stations... get the word out!

Eddie had to deal with a bunch of a-holes in multiple cities on this solo tour, my beloved Beantown included. As far as the clothing comment, obviously you don't get it. Have you ever seen what Pearl Jam has been wearing while on stage for the last 2 decades!!

They played a great game and deserved to win. Alot like the Celtics and Red Sox. Now stop being a typical New Yorker and be nice.

A New York fan once again shows their true colors. You're whole existence centers around your insecurity. Let me try to explain it real simple. They (THE GIANTS!!) played a great game and deserved to win. Can't you guys even take a compliment without screwing it up?

That would be great...unfortunately Ed and PJ prefer the large cities. Maybe one day...if PJs base dwindles and Ed focuses more on just solo shows.

Can't see that anytime soon, but if he released more solo stuff, became a big name JUST for that ( as many who love ITW don't necessarily give a hoot about PJ...check out all the ITW covers on YT...many don't have ANY PJ vids as favs), and became more comfortable with lengthy solo tours...who knows!

    Family first right now!

I couldn't think of a more fitting venue for some "Into the Wild" songs then on the shores of Lake Superior at Big Top! This will be the first fall that we haven't gone up to Bayfield in 3 years, it's so beautiful! Such a peaceful place and wonderful people!

Agreed...and the audience would be so appreciative...no loud assholes...but chat is encouraged. Something Ed loves most nights

Saw G.Love up there and it was a sit-down type crowd which he said he "wasn't used to". After some songs he encouraged people to stand up and dance. Everyone obliged and ended up having a great time. Later he described the scene on his website as "like a scene from the movie Footloose". I had to laugh. It totally would be an Ed solo type crowd. How much fun would a fan club show be up there?! Ah, one can dream!

Compliment unscrewed...peace, my bad bro(?). TY for that, and I do know that simplicity comes easy to Bostonians.

Cocky, brash, SECURE, arrogant yes but there certainly is no insecurity in 26 World Championships my friend, there is however in only 7 of them and an 86 year long dry spell.

Like I said, you can't even take the compliment without spewing your crap. Just like a new yorker to change the discussion mid-stream and throw baseball in there. So here's the part where I ask about your basketball team. This conversation is boring and has nothing to do with thread. I'm done with it. Peace.

I'm gonna try this one LAST time. I COMPLIMENTED them and said they deserve to be the defending Super Bowl Champions because they earned it, like the Celtics deserve to be defending NBA Champions, like the Red Sox as World Series Champions. Every time I try to deal with a new york fan with class and respect, I regret it. new york fans suck.

The venue can hold 2000 people... not any smaller than the venues ED has been playing... but hey Im just playing arm chair promotions here and DREAMING!!! Plus maybe he could get away from the dreaded Ticketmaster!!! yay!

Hey I can DREAM cant I????
