I have fan club tickets to Vancouver but no passport

Are there any options for giving these tickets away, since I don't think I will be able to attend.

I just learned that my passport expired last year. Time flies when you're having fun, and getting older.

I'm not sure you need a passport. Maybe call the border patrol and check.

'If you are a United States citizen (U.S.), you do not need a passport to enter Canada; however, you should carry proof of your citizenship such as a birth certificate, a certificate of citizenship or naturalization or a Certificate of Indian Status, as well as a photo ID. If you are a permanent resident of the U.S., you must bring your permanent resident card with you.'

    Good luck!

I'm 99% sure you don't need a passport to enter Canada *technically* but you DO need one to re-enter the U.S. and because of that, Canada requires you to have a passport. You can quickly get a passport, even same day if you have the funds and a passport agency near you.

I had to get a passport in less than 2 weeks to go to the London show. It was maybe $150?? and they mailed it to me. If you have travel plans sooner than the passport would arrive if mailed, you can usually get it same day or in a day or two.

    Good luck!

I got a passport in 5 hours a couple of years ago when I realized mine was expired the day before the EV solo shows I was going to... don't panic yet! That was in Canada, but I'm sure there's a way you can get one in time in the US. Here, if you show you already have tickets, flights, or whatever, it is enough to qualify as an emergency. It costs more, but it's possible.

Getting a passport quickly if you're near a major metropolitan area is totally doable, but costs extra, like $300 (I'm guessing). Search expedited passport and whatever the biggest city you're closest to. I did it for Baltimore and got results from 1 to 3 business days for 275 dollars.

I had to expedite a passport for my boy when we went to the Montreal show in 2011. His passport actually expired the DAY of the show, so we would have been able to go, but not get back. It was a scramble, yes but worth it.

Canada shows rule, and this tour rules, so FIND THE MONEY.
